"This is your typical Michigan cabin. It was clean, had everything you needed for cooking and relaxing. It is very quiet with woods everywhere. Great firepit. Very relaxing. It is close to towns, food and beaches. The fall colors were beautiful. We would book this again for great weekend getaway. If you are looking to be on the river with a dock, you have to walk a little distance. This is not on the river"

"1950s-60s style cottage — a cottage, not a house. Perfect feeing. Excellent location right on the lake. Clean and comfortable — except for the sofa. Could use a more comfortable sofa, but sometimes sofa beds can be like that."

"We had a great weekend! The house is amazing! Plenty of room and more for our family (12) We loved the hot tub, steam shower and sauna. I only wish we would’ve booked for longer (next time) The property manager was awesome as well, got back to me w texts super fast and helpful! Would recommend this place for sure!! "

"Wow, this place is central to so many great spots. In one week we did so much around the area. My 2.5YO and 6YO loved the property. The water is shallow all the way out to the buoys. My 6 year old and wife walked out to the buoys 4x. My 2YO loved playing in the water but mostly loved digging in the beach on the property with all the provided toys & tools. The flower garden quickly became their scooter “race track” where they raced around loving life. One thing to watch for with the littles is...

"Perfect location. Short drive to everything that we were looking to do, kayak, beach, shop, wineries, restaurants, trails.The cottage is exceptionally well stocked. Clean and comfortable. The property manager was very responsive for all our needs. He even messaged us to warn of a storm coming in.Most important to me is that our dog was welcome. There is even a poop bag dispenser."

"Rae’s Retreat is a treasure. Perfect location for those one team to be able to swim in Lake Michigan visit Frankfurt to visit Leland and sleeping bear dunes. Little Platte lake is so peaceful.The cabin was also wonderful very clean and had all the supplies we needed."
