You have to manage expectations because this isn't an ultra modern hotel with a restaurant, bar workout facilities, etc. However if you love history, antiques and the charm of a very unique stay, Light Horse Inn is for you. We were surprised to be on th side of a mountain but our four wheel drive was handy plus 15 minute drive into Harpers Ferry was nice so it was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer to watch!! Easy to relax!! Our only suggestion would be a small dresser maybe under thevTV and few more hooks for clothing since there is no closet. The kichen, bath and sleeping area were good.
