"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If...

"We started off our short little trip with a horrid hotel and ended it at this super cute and very accommodating camp ground. We had originally booked just a one night stay at the campground for a 2 day stay & play at bush gardens but then the family decided we shouldn’t drive up then go to the theme park but that we should come the night before. "We took our twin daughters up for a few days to have fun at Busch Gardens. This house was perfect for everything that we wanted! The girls each took a friend, so the 4 girls took over the bedrooms upstairs. We mostly ate at the house & the fully was more stocked than I expected!I don’t even know if I can list any constructive criticism. I was a perfect 3 night get away "

"What a unique relaxing stay enjoying birding, kayaking, stargazing, sunsets off the bridge and watching the kids capture crabs galore. We loved the quirky cottage with its amazing large wrap around window views. Donna and Mike are caring hosts, offering plenty of tips on the area when asked. The island is conveniently located close to Yorktown and not far from Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. The kids also enjoyed both Yorktown and Jamestown beaches during the stay. "

"Super friendly hosts! The little touches and details made all the difference. From the basket of towels and sandals for the hot tub, to the welcome book full of local food and fun, you can tell they really care if their guests enjoys their stay! "We took a moms' relaxing getaway at this property this week. The property was clean, pretty, and very well kept with modern designs and appliances. We were able to enjoy the beautiful waterfront view from bedrooms, living room and the kitchen during our stay. The house is perfectly located in the quiet neighborhood within a 20-30 min driving distance from a variety of attractions to check out - shopping, museums, and more. We will likely come back to this property again. :) "
