"This place was very close to whale watching and the views were awesome to wake up to. "We had 4 nights at Eagles Watch and our host John, was awesome. Not only a wealth of information, but a great cook who served us daily breakfast along with sharing stories and information about Juneau. The number of eagles who graced us with their daily presence was incredible. A cozy, comfortable, clean place that was the perfect first part of our Alaskan journey. Thank you John for everything!! "Shangri-La met our needs for a couple days in Juneau. The whole unit is very big. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is great, and I loved that it had a washer/dryer. The sitting area is just ok but it could use a chair. Also, it was not made clear in the amenities that it does not have a regular stove and oven. It has a double cooktop you need to get out of a drawer and a single burner cooktop. They do not heat up like a regular stove. They do have a pretty big toaster...

"Perfect for our family with small kids! The views and access to the river are amazing. It’s very centrally located as well. The children loved the rafters each day and the well stocked books, games, and play space. The house was well stocked and had ample space for storage of food and luggage. Host was very responsive and took great care with the amenities. Coffee pot and an additional Keurig were perfect for our family breakfasts of decaf and full-caf drinkers. This is our 3rd trip to Juneau...

"The property is a short walk from the tourist area which is quite nice to have the peace and quiet. Unfortunately rain kepy us from enjoying the outdoor amenities but they would be perfect in good weather. As a party of 5 adults we had plenty of room to relax and visit. The host was so considerate-plenty of towels and even supplied many extra touches. Meticulously clean. Highly recommend staying here and will do so again."
