"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The property was clean, quiet, and felt very safe. Everything was conveniently located—grocery stores, restaurants, and shops were just a short walk away, and having easy parking made it even better. The area felt welcoming and relaxing, with plenty of options for dining and exploring the local culture. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely stay here again. "

"What a great house! My friends and I stayed for the weekend. The house is large and quite comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the private dock and in the hot tub. We had a great time and would stay there again."

"Don't hesitate you won't be disappointed. The only regret you'll have is not staying longer. So many things to do and see and you won't feel bad doing nothing at all it is so relaxing. Hosts advice and directions accurate and informative. You don't need to bring anything as the owls nest has everything you'll need for an amazing stay. Thank you."

"What fun we all had! The indoor pool was definitely a highlight for us! kids of all ages were able to enjoy the game room and spend quality time in and around the lake. The use of 2 large refrigerators and 2 dishwashers made cooking and clean up a breeze. "

"The stay was fabulous!! Having 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators 2stoves2coffeemakers! Brilliant!!We had plenty of space to cook for seventeen guests! The communal spaces were comfy and condusive for the games we played. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit!"

"Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! "

"Love the natural beauty and atmosphere surrounding the cabin! Perfect for a relaxing get-a-way. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with the essentials. It’s a short drive to artistic shops, good eats, scenic waterfalls and great hiking trails. Looking forward to our next visit! "

"My family spent the weekend here. We absolutely loved this place. Very cozy and private. We spent more time around the fire pit than we did at the actual lake. The view of the lake from the fire pit was so calming and peaceful. The dock was very cool. The host was welcoming and accommodating and very easy to reach if you need. We would stay here again for sure. Even my pups loved the private yard Thank you to the host!"

"Great spot, very cool cabin! Convenient to many great locations: Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob etc. Only downside was that the neighbors down the road are a little loud. The gravel road in got a bit washed out in the storm, so 4WD is recommended"

"Rest Assured cabin in Big Bear Resort was absolutely perfect! We love to mountain bike and the Chris Cowley trail was exactly 1 mile from the cabin. This magnificent trail ended on Camp 70 Road where many of the famous Davis trails start including Hoodoo and Moon Rocks. When we were not out mountain biking, we were enjoying many amenities of the resort including the recently renovated pool and 9 holes of mini golf. The staff at the resort were friendly and helpful. "We had a wonder time. Very quiet and relaxing . Cabin was decorated beautifully. I was disappointed we could not see the river from the deck. "

"Cute tiny home with plenty of space in the kitchen and living room for two people. The house is very centrally located so it was no more than 15 mins to get anywhere we wanted to go. I particularly enjoyed the fire pit out back!"
