"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. "The family was gathering for time at Lake Laura and some family members have stayed there before. Dish washer and coffee makers didn’t work great but the rest of the kitchen was fine. We have 3 cabins for 11 and it worked out nicely. There were cats and deer we saw on property. We hung out towels to dry and enjoyed the deck on the mid level. "

"Great spot, very cool cabin! Convenient to many great locations: Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob etc. Only downside was that the neighbors down the road are a little loud. The gravel road in got a bit washed out in the storm, so 4WD is recommended"

"Lux home base for outdoor fun. We enjoyed our summer stay at this lovely home. It was perfect for adventuring outdoors and then coming back to a relaxing retreat with luxurious amenities, including a state-of-the-art kitchen, hot tub and stone shower. "This area is amazing! We missed the spring blooms by a week, maybe. But it was still so pretty. The property was exactly as described. Communication was slow, but I did get responses. The property was clean, but here were dead bugs, and I mean A LOT of dead bugs, on every window seal and on the floor under the windows. Lots of cobwebs too, but it didn't affect the stay. The beds were pretty comfy, there were plenty of towels. The firepit had one load of fire wood and that was it. I'd stay here...

"We had a very nice stay. The cabin is exactly as advertised (except it now has a full-size refrigerator). It is clean, the location is terrific with nice surroundings and easy access to nearby activities. Also there is access to a nice swimming pool and mini-golf. The hosts were very attentive and we would definitely stay here again. "

"The cabin was amazing. It had a rustic feel with all the modern amenities. It was thoughtfully stocked, very clean, and just a perfect cozy space to relax. The waterfront was a beautiful short inclined walk away on the property and was absolutely stunning. Our stay was the perfect extended weekend and we were so glad we found this treasured location!
