"This is a 100 year old hotel in the village of Alert Bay. Our room had a small balcony with a great view. The breakfast included bread, fruit and yogurt. The dining room downstairs had a limited menu. Don’t pay any attention to the one posted online. Prices, of course were higher , but the food was good. "

Beds were also very comfortable. The one small issue we had was resolved almost immediately. Communication was easy and excellent right from the time we booked. This place definitely exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend a stay here and are looking forward to coming back in the future. "

"The apartment is equipped with everything you need. It is small but private with a lovely back garden with BBQ. The bed is very comfortable with quality bedding. The owners have creatively furnished the apartment with beautiful wood craftsmanship. I highly recommend making time for a visit to the attached Boom Boat studio and Art Gallery. Don and Denise are great hosts willing to share art expertise and lots of local history."
