"O hotel possui uma bela infra-estrutura. Porém deixa a desejar na qualidade dos quartos. Móveis antigos, banheiros com aparência de sujos e bem antigos. Para quem vai utilizar as dependências do hotel, vale a pena. Para quem quer conforto no próprio quarto, nao recomendo. Até a televisão parece ter sido uma das primeiras tvs LCDs lançadas (sim LCD e nao led). Para um hotel da rede Mercure o quarto deixa muito a desejar. Nada a reclamar da piscina, spa e outros. Restaurante muito bom também! "

"Really enjoyed our stay, such friendly staff, convenient having the pub underneath, gave us a local taxi number which is nice and also checked on our taxi to make sure it was the right one when we were leaving. Rooms clean, beds comfy, everything we needed for short stay. Brilliant shopping centre 1mile away and quick into city centre or Town Moor for events, highly recommend "

"The staff were efficient, welcoming and happy to help. We wanted a cheap & functional room and that’s what we got with a bonus of a fan. The parking was fantastic value - £5 for 24hrs and an easy walk to The Stadium of Light mainly along a pedestrian route. Definitely great value and superb staff."

"Very nice hotel. Room was bigger than I expected and in very good clean condition. Although on my own, I paid a tiny bit more for the double bed which was a really good size and well worth it. I also reserved a table at the on premise Thai Restaurant. Great food, freshly cooked and nice smiley service from all staff, meant it was a good experience. The hotel bar is very good too. "We arrived late so unfortunately didn’t get to experience the food but the bar and restaurant was lovely and we only wish we could have spent more time here. The decor is amazing. Rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were very helpful."

"Just an overnight stay before dropping iff our son at Newcastle Uni digs. Ample free parking. A very friendly and helpful receptionist. From the decor it looked like the hotel was a premier inn in a former life. Just needs a bit of tlc and updating, but was more than adequate for us, very comfortable beds resulting in a very giod sleep."
