"When we arrived around 5:30, the front office was already closed and we were lucky to run into and employee who took us to our room. The room was very run down, but clean enough. No bed bugs. There were a lot of flies however, which I thought was odd. Traditional style lock and key and in a super cute part of town. It’s right down the street from base so that’s really nice. Overall it was ok."

"We had an absolutely wonderful weekend getaway! The cottage was impeccably clean and cozy. It was perfectly appointed with modern amenities, yet it still retained its classic coastal charm. Waking up to breathtaking views of the water right from our room was the highlight of the trip. The innkeepers were incredibly accommodating. A huge bonus for us was the kayaks on the property. The availability of clean lifejackets was a plus. We can’t wait to go back and relax."

"The stay was above superior with amenities such as free pontoon rides, happy hour with wine and cheese, as well as all day fruit bowl and evening cookies. All part of the stay. Breakfast is served restaurant style either in their seating area or outside in many scenic areas to choose from. This place is local to the main town with many places to walk, including the beach. The hotel also offers free bikes to ride locally to enjoy this beautiful bayside town. Worth every dollar."

"This was our second stay at the Madison. We loved this property and may return at some future date. Our experience with staff members were short of the standard set during our first visit. "The room was clean despite a musty smell. Check in was a breeze. The AC units are new, and they had to send maintenance up twice to make the rattling stop on the one in my room. After the second time, I asked if there was another room available and the manager John was very snippy when he told me they were sold out.
