Visitor Center staff were kind, engaged, and knowledable. Neat displays and information. Enjoyed learning about Norwegian heritage and history. Property manager provided great communication. Signage to property was also helpful. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again."

"We arrived at the properly late night. Michel was available for us and answered our questions right away. It’s perfectly located, close to Iowa and Minnesota. We drove to Brownsville MN to eat at a marina, the easy to go to La Crosse to have some great ice scream and walk by the river, and drove back to the Iowa side to have a beer in a local bar. It was amazing. The cabin itself it a magical place. You can just watch a movie and enjoy of a great view locking out the house, you can walk around...

"Convenient location; very close to the Historic Temple Theater. Restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, all walkable. And the Wonderstate coffee shop! The hosts provided EXCELLENT check-in instructions and included a helpful picture of the correct entrance and where to park - much appreciated since we were not familiar with the area. The unit was nice and clean, we would definitely stay here again!"

"Quiet and cozy cabin across the street from the Kickapoo River. Perfect size for two to take a quiet getaway for a time. Much to see in the Readstown and Viroqua area and Kickapoo Valley. Excellent hiking trails, restaurants/ bars and shopping within a short drive. LeAnne was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again in the future."

We thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of the winding creek and the surrounding bounty of nature. We look forward to staying there again - this time for a few days longer!!"

"This was a very quaint, well kept little house, and it was perfect for our group and the best part was that it had a first class trout stream right in the backyard. And we actually caught a few fish. Loved this place and would like to go there again."
