"We always stay at Hampton when we travel. However, recently, I have begun to notice an unpleasant trend. Has there recently been a company memo sent out to your locations that require the front desk staff NOT to smile and NOT to in anyway indicate that they are happy the customer is checking in?? Good Lord, is their job so miserable that they act like they have been on duty for 36 straight hours? I am a business owner and I realize how hard it is to get decent employees. But geez, can’t they...

"We had such a lovely stay at this cozy little riverside gem! The house was absolutely charming — 1 bedroom with a comfy queen bed and an upstairs loft with 2 twin beds that felt like the perfect hideaway. The whole place had this vintage, farm-chic style that was both warm and inviting. It felt so safe and peaceful, like a little retreat tucked away from the world.The location was a dream — quiet and nestled right up against the river (so relaxing!), but I could be in town in just a few minutes....

"It was a cute cabin with lake access. Ted was extremely helpful because it hadn't been cleaned before our arrival and the cleaners arrived about five minutes after we contacted him. We were there for one night but we would go back again."

A few minutes outside of Sandusky, the rooms are simple yet comfortable and the grounds are a lovely place to relax, be it outside with the porches, pavilions, and firepits, or in one of the shared spaces inside. Ranae's communication was friendly, prompt, and clear. My only regret was that we didn't have more time there."
