"I would give it a 5 star but when we arrived the grass hadn't been mowed and to sit around the fire pit we had to stomp down the grass to enjoy the fire, saying that the mosquitoes were pretty bad. I tried communicating with the host a few times and no response from her. There were no bath towels or face clothes, luckily we brought our own. Other than that the cottage was cozy and the kitchen was stocked with what you needed. Close to neighbouring towns for hiking and small town shopping."

The location is magic with a beautiful vista, clean, clear air, the sounds of loons on the lake and most of all the glorious peace and quiet. The no motor rule on the lake is brilliant.
