" ⸻ We had a wonderful stay at this motel with our children. The backyard was lovely, with decks, a fireplace, a small basketball area, and a playground that the kids really enjoyed. It was a very relaxing space with a beautiful view of the river right from our room. The room itself was spotless, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. "The cottages are great! Have everything you need to escape the city. We aren't big on fishing, but if you are, this place would be amazing for you. Fishing boats + an area for cleaning fish is available. The pool is great! The water is a little chilly, but a great reprieve on a hot day. The only negative is if you have a dog with you, there arent a ton of places to walk them that aren't just around other people's properties or a short drive away.
