"Tony was our host. We never saw him. Nor did we get sheets for the bed we slept in. The hot tub was disgusting and appeared to have soap suds in it. There were no bowls in the kitchen. The upstairs shower had only hot water. The downstairs shower had only cold water. There was inadequate seating in the living room for the number of occupants staying there."

"We had an amazing time at this property! The house was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close enough to everything we needed, but still peaceful and relaxing. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience stress-free. Whether we were enjoying our mornings on the patio or winding down in the cozy living room, it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"The house has lots of space—really good sized rooms—and plenty of towels, linens, outdoor furniture and equipment, etc. to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountains and incredible stars on a clear night. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from JMU and it was close enough to be convenient."

"My husband camped in the George Washington National Forest for many years until giving that up for health reasons. I found this sweet guest house, which was perfect for us and our dog Cookie. The decor is enchanting and the place was spotless. Michelle was friendly and welcoming, and she thought of special touches to make the visit a great experience. Although the kitchen facilities were limited, we used the mini-fridge and microwave to prepare a nice dinner that we ate at the cute kitchen...

"This gem is close to the Appalachian highway but nestled amongst trees shading the back deck. I woke to horses in the adjacent field whinnying. Beautiful kitchen. Nice open floor plan that opens to dining and living. Lovely rooms upstairs. The bed I slept in was quite comfy. The complex has a heated pool, a volleyball court, a fire pit, a basketball court, a tennis court, a horseshoe pit and a catch and release pond with gazebo. "Our family of four stayed for two nights and used this as a home base for a skiing at White Grass, tubing at Canaan Valley Resort, and hiking at Blackwater Falls State Park. The home was well-appointed, and the hosts were very welcoming... they live right next door and are available to help if needed. The home is full lovely antique furniture and was very comfortable for us. Love that they are dog friendly!"

"The Fox Den met all our needs. It was clean, comfortable and had great indoor and outdoor living spaces. It was located in Thomas, within walking distance of the downtown area. "Bom para passar a noite. Bom custo/beneficio, mas precisa de um update urgente. As instalações já estão muito desgastadas. Problemas com a descarga do banheiro. Cheiro de umidade nos quartos. Café da manhã muito simples. Já fiquei nesse hotel outras vezes e acho que está decadente. "
