"This beautiful home was build with love and we were made to feel like family. Every inch of the house has been put together with thought and is clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was prepared for us on our schedule and was delicious. I would go out of my way to stay here again!"

"Clean, cute and very comfortable house, big enough for our family of 4. The house is full of amenities including invidual toiletries kits! Jimmy stocked the house full with bottles water and yummy breakfast items. It was our pleasure getting to the owner whose was very easy with check in check out time and so generous with all the goodies! Loved the lake. We're be back!"

"We booked the house for a multi-generation family get together, and it was exactly what we needed! The setting is serene and beautiful. I saw the first turtle I have seen in the wild in some time! Inside, the newer home has a very fresh, uncluttered feel and was spotlessly clean. The layout worked great for our family as there are two large and comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, on the main floor. One of those bathrooms is accessible from the main living space, too. And, there...

"This beautiful home is the perfect gathering place for families. Very well maintained, and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. 100% would recommend."

"I did not enjoy knowing we had cameras on us the whole time outside. It felt like we were being watched. I also thought it was uncomfortable having someone at the mailbox right at 10:00, which I know was checkout and we were leaving."

"We had a great stay overall. The house was a perfect size for our group, and the check-in and check-out process was simple and hassle-free. The owner was very responsive and quick to address the few issues that came up during our stay, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals at the house and never found ourselves missing any cookware or utensils. The home was generally clean, but in my opinion, it could benefit...

"The cottage was lovely and offered everything one would need for a stay at a "home away from home." The kitchen featured a full-size fridge, Keurig, air fryer, and microwave oven, and enough dishes and utensils for a party of four. Surrounded by farms and located in a semi-rural area, but not far from local wineries and sights, the cottage offered a peaceful respite. The host communicated with us promptly and thoroughly, and we look forward to staying at one of his properties again."

"We were extremely pleased with this lovely little cottage. The owners were very hospitable and communicative and their property was very clean and had great ambience. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend!"

"Great property great country setting"

"Our family of four loved our stay at the Moss Side Manor house. The house was very comfortable and we loved the historic furnishings. The farm setting was very interesting. We saw the farm manager feeding the cows and he kindly gave us an impromptu lesson on the farm and area properties. The house was also close to several restaurants and a short drive to Williamsburg. All in all a great visit. Highly recommended."

"Classic old plantation house that’s got modern conveniences."

"Spotless home with everything one needs. Hot tube was a nice touch."

"Loved this house! Had our extended family in from out of town for our daughter’s wedding and it was perfect. Well stocked kitchen and really nice bathrooms. First floor bedroom was a plus for my parents. The large bunkroom was great for kids or teens as well as the games in the garage."

"We came out for a NASCAR race in Richmond. The location was perfect, less than 30 minutes from the track. The property is beautiful as is the house. It was a perfect size for our group of six. The master suite with that double shower was phenomenal!!! It was so convenient to have the Food Lion next door. There is a lot to do on the property. It was pretty hot outside when we were here so we didn’t do any of the outdoor activities but would have loved to try the frisbee golf! Our host provided...

"Totally loved our stay. We are using it as a benchmark for our future higher end short term rental."
