"Great place to stay. A bit of road noise but that’s to be expected for the convenient location. Found a couple of excellent places to eat on Mills St in Bayfield. Propane tank on the fire pit was empty but it rained both evenings so didn’t request a new one. Beautiful property with ponds and creeks to fish. Catch and release only. Would definitely stay again. "

"Great location! Such a beautiful area to walk around — the Animas River Trail is amazing to have so close, especially with the botanical garden right along it. We saw so much wildlife, explored downtown, and enjoyed plenty of restaurants. Got our steps in and loved every minute of it. Lots of wildlife and deer you name we seen it! "

"We were in town for my son’s wedding at Purgatory, so the location was perfect. While the house was amazing, we all loved the front porch and yard. We played lot’s of family games. Our favorite sounds were hearing the Silverton train echo up and down the canyon. We will be back for sure. Thank you Anne!"

"We had a wonderful time at the Durango Hideout. The house is located in town (about a 15 minute walk to the shops/train/etc.), yet has a secluded private feel to it. There is another house on one side, but there are blinds on the windows you can close. The backyard is against the hillside, and there is a cute little deck with cafe table/chairs and grill for enjoying the back yard. "Small shower. Would not recommend for someone with physical ailments. But i would definitely book again. Awesome place awesome view! Quiet and peaceful! Loved it!"

"Hotel bom... Pipoca gratis o dia todo e quarto amplos.... Porem tive um grande problema de madrugada quando comecou a cair agua pelo teto do banheiro... Corri para a recepcao e avisei... Era alguem no quarto acima que transbordou a banheira... Me ofereceram um novo quarto e nao aceitei pois minha familia ja estava dormindo... Entao levaram muitas toalhas e a chave do quarto da frente caso eu precisase do banheiro... Foi uma solução aceitavel no momento "
