"Relative new construction with a great staff."

"My room was clean and furnished nicely. The lobby and dining area were well kept. The hallways and stairways looked dirty and smelled badly. I could smell marijuana in the stairways and throughout the hallway. Need a covered smoking section near one entrance to keep people away from the entrances smoking. I gave it a try based on price but I won’t be returning there again."

"The breakfast was wonderful and kept stocked and clean. Front office staff was welcoming and kind. There was a snafu with our reservation and they were helpful and apologetic. The room itself left a lot to be desired. There was leftover food under the pull outcouch, the corners of the room were dirty and had pieces of the drywall on the floor. "Too much noise with the Emergency door used in the morning by many guests. Breakfast was really bad. Almost nothing."

"The hotel was poorly staffed. The breakfast was not fully stocked and all hot options were cold. The person working in the kitchen complained to us that staff was not showing up to work, and she didnt have enough help. Our room was ok, but it was not that clean. Bathroom floor was not cleaned and there was dirt on on the moldings. The bed was ok. We will look for another hotel near Lansing next time."

"Bar was well stocked and drinks were cold if not on ice. Staff was attentive and pleasant I was assured my needs would be met with just a phone call from my room. Air conditioning was confusing as the ground fault breaker on the power cord had been tripped but once that was corrected the comfort level in the room was as I expected. "House was exactly as described. Welcoming and clean. We were there off season and filled our needs completely. Quiet. Reasonably close to many amenities. Shares parking area with store- employee was exceptionally helpful. I would stay again should the need arise."

"We had an amazing visit! The place was everything we expected and more! The location felt very secluded even though it was right off the highway (which you could hear but wasn't an issue for us) they provided us with a heater that worked wonderfully to keep the place warm! They even had games for us to play."
