"Sadly, the Ben Miller is outdated and really needing a makeover. Straight from the outset, the front lobby was shabby (with furniture that was seriously in need of a change), the dining area resembled something out of a lodge in the Poconos in the 60's/70's (certainly not fine dining) with ample evidence of roof leaks and the view to the river having debris quite visible. Our room, while clean, showed evidence of much wear and tear; what stuck in our minds was the rust visible on the ceiling...

"The pool and hot tub were great! Perfect temperatures. I went on Easter weekend and they weren’t busy so I had the pool to myself, an unexpected pleasure. The room was exactly as advertised, and they left an adequate stock of coffee which is a must for me :). "Kitchen was well eqipped. Staff member friendly and helpful. Pool perfect temperature. Great view. Breakfast would have been nice if fresh melons, berries etc. were served. Plain yogurts were needed too as everything was sweetened. I was thankful there were hard boiled eggs for protein. "

"The Little Inn has been a special place to us for many years. It is indeed charming and the staff was all kind and helpful. We did discover on this trip that we should have waited a week or two since they were in transition to full season services. The dinner menu had several changes that had to be conveyed verbally since the printed menu was not updated, and, most disappointing was that there was no breakfast available except on weekends at this point. Other breakfast possibilities in town were...

"We liked the character of the building, the beds were comfortable and the room suited our basic needs."

"All members of the staff were helpful and courteous. The saltwater pool was clean and large enough and deep enough for a real swim. The continental breakfast was fresh and good. The mattress was very comfortable. Next time we will ask for a room facing the garden (back of the property) as the window treatments do not block the light from the hotel's highway signage and I need a dark room to sleep in. Otherwise: geat property!"

"Cleanliness could be better - floors were dirty and there were bits of other guests hairs in the shower. Bathroom mirror was wonderful, there’s really nowhere to put your stuff down in the bathroom so keep that in mind with hair tools etc. Staff was friendly, coffee station was a bonus! All in all, it was okay!"

"We absolutely loved our stay! The bed and breakfast is in a perfect location. It’s just a short walk to shops and restaurants, so we were able to leave the car and explore on foot.
