"We were disappointed to find food from the last guest in the fridge. There were balls of hair in the bathroom floor. The blackout curtains and bedsheets both had holes in them. The night check in employee was not friendly. Not a place I’ll stay again."

"The Oakdale Inn is our favorite place to stay while in southern Virginia. The Inn is wonderful, the rooms comfortable, the breakfast is very enjoyable, and the location is very convenient to anything that you're doing in the area. The Innkeeper (Erin) is a fantastic and helpful aspect of your experience, too. Highly recommended!!"

The floor is very wavy making you feel unsteady. The couch was also low and hard as a rock. The smith river behind the house is barely visibleThe worst part is the entry. "The room was discusting. It had human fecal matter and blood on wall in bathroom, a used lubricated condom in the nightstand drawer, the refrigerator was a solid block of ice, only one receptacle worked in the room, the furniture was so badly stained you were afraid to sit on it. The toilet didn't work properly, the recptacle in bathroom did not work neither did their hairdryer. The room was overall filthy and can not believe you would even put them on your website. Guess I will not be using...
