"View is everything and this place has no competition"

"Friendly, helpful staff, clean well stocked kitchen, comfortable and fun place. Our small dog absolutely loved it there and even fell in love with a French bulldog! Good proximity to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. Highly recommend!"

"I love this place! We've stayed here a couple of times in little apartments that are always clean and well kept. It has a homey, Laid-Back atmosphere that feels very welcoming."

"Small coastal town,. I would say, if you want to have a lot of shopping and choices on eateries, this isn't the place for you. There are a few shops and a few dining places that aren't open every day. The property is right on the water, exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place to watch fishing boats and the tides. Rooms vary a bit and there are some that do not have a water view. The Angelique is an end unit which is nice and I would assume keeps noises to a minimum (althought...

"My kids and I absolutely loved our stay. Everything was so nice and comfortable. My only teeny tiny complaint was that the hot tub was a little yucky in daylight, with a ring around the top and a bit of hair in the foam. My kids did not care though!! All around, lovely stay."

"What a wonderful home for a family reunion/birthday party! Our ages ranged from 11 to 81. As I wandered the many halls and rooms I liked to imagine I was in a Jane Austen or E.M. Forester novel. We all loved the house so much.It's true as other reviewers mentioned it's a little spare for the folks who use walkers and canes, no hand holds in the bathrooms and all showers are (gorgeous) on the second floor. "We had a group of nine (7 adults and 2 kids) and we had plenty of space. The house was extremely clean. We didn’t use the kitchen much besides coffee in the morning, but it seemed well stocked if you need to cook. The view from the house is unbeatable. Couple of suggestions: the fire pit could use a few more chairs. The house is so large to only have four. We had enough bath towels for each bed, but more hand towels would be nice. And the marshmallows are a nice touch, but you still have to go...
