"We had to use a door lock code to enter the room. We were given the code by calling the number on a sign. We loved the outdoor fire pit and grills. The motel was very simple but had everything we needed. There was a back area where we could walk the dogs. The room was clean and the area quiet."

"Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. "You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set."

"A cute little cottage that was clean and convenient. It was a little over a half an hour drive to Acadia, and about ten minutes into downtown Ellsworth. My kids appreciated having their own bed. The host was quick to reply to messages, and check in/out was very easy. It isn’t a luxury cottage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The photos are very accurate. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a good hairdryer, and a 3-1 body wash. Bring your own shampoo, or it was cheap to purchase...

"Great little cabin close to the activity of Acadia and bustle of Bar Harbor, but seemingly miles away from anywhere! Two bedrooms were perfect for my husband and I and our adult son. Bed were comfy, kitchen well stocked and the living/dining area nice for just unwinding at the end of the day. There is a fire pit area too that looked good for relaxing in the evening, but we weren’t there long enough to take advantage of it. "

"My family enjoyed our time at this property. I received a friendly email prior to arrival with clear directions and local recommendations. It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area."
