"The lobby has dried mud all over. The first room they gave us smelled like teenage boy locker room. The second room was clean. The bathroom ceiling had black on it though. Refused to shower in it. Breakfast was passable at best. There isn’t many choices to stay in Point Pleasant that’s why it got a 3. Otherwise it would have been lower."

The cabin is comfortable and very thoughtfully stocked (in particular, the kitchen has every gadget, pot, pan, seasoning, coffee, creamer, you name it). The host, Kathy, is friendly and helpful. The house itself is beautiful, the hammock on the deck is a really cool feature but also placed in a spot where there was a 50/50 chance you'd have a sewage smell while enjoying the feature.
