"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. "Clean, stylish room and a nicely updated property. We only had the chance to check out the pool house, but the space was perfect for hanging out and the staff was so friendly. The only negatives were some of the fixtures in the bathroom of our room were not fully secure to the wall and the water runs out of the shower. But, it was affordable & close to all the places we love in North Charleston so we would stay again!"

"Not a bad place for the price. It's a hotel with no human interaction. Everything is communicated through text and codes are used to get around. They have bottles for water and a refilling station for water and ice. Paid parking on site/ across the street, as well as free parking lots nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and well stocked. "First time at Hyatt Place sc location was nice. Sheena at the front desk was awesome. She made our long trip so meaningful. She was kind, professional, caring , godly young woman. She loved her job and it was evident that she was just a generally caring person. My mobility is not good and she went above and beyond from the first greeting to our last step. Kindness is a rarity but it goes so far and speaks volumes about a person. God bless Sheena in all that she does to help strangers feel...
