"Clean, spacious room with good beds. Simple breakfast buffet is included. However, the place has no restaurant - need to drive to nearby towns/villages. Plenty of parking. Very short walk to beach. Major advantage: this is a quiet neighborhood, away from the stripmall like Kitty Hawk and Kill Devils towns."

"It was a beautiful condo. Was centrally located. We did walk the "direct beach access" path to discover it takes you over to another street, then you walk down about a block to get to the beach access. It was fairly close but the word direct was misleading. The use of the kitchen and laundry was a plus. The pool wasn't open for the season but it looked clean and had a nice sitting area around it. The water pressure was bad in the master bath. We used the hallway shower only. We didn't call...

"We absolutely loved the hot tub on the second story back porch. It faced the yard, not the canal. The place was cozy for two people but no more. There is an induction plate to cook on, so we brought our non-stick induction pan to make life easy. We loved hanging in the hammock in the porch area. "What a warm and very inviting HOME away from home. It is so well decorated, many books to read on the comfy sofa or near the incredible backyard with so much to see. Just lovely place. Sandy does a remarkable job with the yard and cleaning. I washed my clothes so I don’t need to worry when I get home to do laundry. Love the gas stove and refrigerator. "The stairs were a bit much for our dog. I ended up having to carry my dog down each time. It's obviously an older building, updates that have been made are pretty decent. It could still use some more, especially in the bathroom to make it a much better experience. "
