"We loved our stay at the cottage! The layout, the two living areas and the well appointed kitchen made our 4 night stay very comfortable... the tea and coffee bar and the towel warmer!! All the beds were super comfortable too. We especially enjoyed the back of the property with the "swing house", axe throwing, and big fire pit!We would definitely love to stay again! "

"A perfect getaway to celebrate the holidays! We visited Eagles Rest with my one month shy of 90 year-old mother, and two adult kids. We appreciated the welcoming amenities and meticulously clean and cozy atmosphere! Having two bedrooms on the primary floor was helpful for older guests, and the loft suite was beautifully private! "We had a great stay overall! The animals were all nice besides the donkey. The market was nice for breakfast and a little shopping. The cabin was a bit chilly the first night as there’s not really insulation but with both heaters going and the fan blowing towards the roof it made it more than comfortable the second night. "This is a really interesting property. This was our first time in Roanoke. Just passing through for one night. Location and parking was good. It's pretty eclectic. A one bedroom apartment in a former government building. Kitchen was great, but it reminded us of a college apartment. Brewery located onsite was fun and it was a lovely day. Definitely not your average hotel. We cracked up at the really big screen TVs in the living and bedrooms."
