"Property is beautiful. Checking in was a disaster. Restaurant was mediocre at best. Breakfast was a horrible experience. Kept moving to different rooms every morning. Had dry cereal but no milk. Waffle maker but no butter for waffles. Only had orange juice and/or apple juice. On one of the three days. Powdered eggs and sausage were cold every day. "

"Building is under a much needed renovation. Ive been staying here since 2019 and this is the worst its been with cleaning of general areas ...pool is closed for renovation and rooms not done are very run down. However newly done areas look FANTASTIC!"

"Breakfast was good, room was spotless and we have 2 small dogs so we were in a doggie room. Bed slept great, shower pressure met needs. Price was not outrageous. Lots of grass around hotel to walk dogs. Will keep in mind for future travels on our frequent Kansas to NC and back trips."

The host was incredible — they checked in a few days before arrival to update us on road conditions after the winter storm and made sure we could safely get to the cabin. When we arrived, the heat was already on, which was such a thoughtful touch and very appreciated!The cabin itself was quaint, cozy, and absolutely beautiful, and it was perfect for my husband and me (and our two fur babies).
