"Breakfast was plentiful, good choices, maintained with prompt service and clean surroundings. Rooms were odd, very retro look. Good for youngsters I guess. No closet or drawers to place your clothes in. Guess its not a long term situation. Beds were very comfortable. Flooring wood, which did not hide the walking around upstairs. Ample parking."

"Where to start. The place is so run down. I’d classify it as a motel and a 1 star at that. The only good amenity was that one of the two beds was comfortable enough to get a good rest in. Of course, being awoken by the owners multiple times in the morning didn’t allow for a full rest and recovery and was infuriating! It’s a small family run business now and they obviously don’t know what’s expected by the Baymont by Wyndham franchise. Or perhaps I expect too much from the brand. Don’t bother...

"The room was quite large and furniture was adequate. It has a writing desk and chair. A/C was very good and it was near 100 outside. We had car problems and our stay needed to be extended and a possible late checkout was also approved by the front desk. Good TV and reasonably comfortable bed. Will stay here again."

"The elevator at Fairfield was not working. I was traveling with my elderly mother who couldn’t walk the stairs. The associate at the hotel referred me to another Marriott location where I ended up staying. The Expedia app changed me for the room anyway. The associate at Fairfield stated that I was not charged on their end. I’ve noticed several pending charges on my card. I’m still waiting for Expedia to waive the charges for a canceled stay at no fault of mine."

"Where to start… how about the beginning So… our stay was from Thursday to Saturday…got in 2am Friday.. booked in. No problem… but first room. The door didn’t lock… ok. So new room… we did have hot water for the shower but when we went to turn up the bed… HAIR EVERYWHERE!!!! All over..human hair, dog hair.. disgusting… went back down to manager to get more sheets (getting another room would have been tedious) So we do housekeeping and pay for the hotel..how cool is that? Friday Shower...

"We enjoyed the cabin, the hot tub, fire pit, peace and quiet on the dock very much. Losing one star as we felt that specific things could be cleaner or in better condition such as hot tub cover, grill, inside of cupboards, baseboards. Furniture and beds were clean, great and comfy. Very charming and nice getaway and we very much liked our time there."

"Cozy and very clean! It was a perfect place to stay for my son’s basic training graduation at Fort Jackson. It was around 20-25 minutes drive to base and easy to maneuver. The house itself is older, but well kept and very clean. It was comfortable for my older parents and my two year old granddaughter. The fenced back yard is a wonderful feature. The only thing I’d note is that the light that comes into the front bedroom at night is bright! A blind in the window would be a wonderful addition....
