"This hotel is a great place to stay at Ocean Isle Beach. Located right on the beach. Beautiful views on the oceanside. Affordable, roomy and comfortable accommodations. Quiet except for the sound of the ocean. A short walk to the pier and to good restaurants. I have stayed here several times and always enjoy my stay."

"This is a really nice independent hotel with a lot of charm. The location is great and the views are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. We have stayed twice and will try and stay here every time we visit. If they had a food option on site, this would be amazing, but the town is a short golf cart ride away. Highly recommend for any stay in Southport. "

"We booked an oceanfront room, upon check in we were told we would be on the 2nd floor with an oceanfront view, we went to store and went back to check in and the previous girl helping us wasn't there, the room we got was "oceanfront " but you can not see the ocean , very disappointed with this , we paid for and oceanfront view, so just know if you book you might not get the view you requested. The bottom floor rooms should be cheaper then the second. Very disappointed."

"My room was very clean and modern. Breakfast was unexpectedly good with a lot of variety to choose from. And we always appreciate the fresh baked cookies upon check in. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay"

"Breakfast was very basic cereals, bread, toast and Waffle. So if you love carbohydrates, it's the place to be. Could use some scrambled eggs, or sausages. Very clean."

"We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly lady that was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean. It had a kitchenette which came in handy. A full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and microwave. The coffee maker was fully stocked. We felt very safe and secure there. The breakfast had a wide choice of items from pancakes and sausage to cereals and fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend this hotel as everything was great!"

"Do not stay at this hotel. It is substandard, dark, and ugly. No ceiling light in the bathroom. Phone does not work. AC is loud and inadequate. Bed is uncomfortable. The place is noisy. This was my worst lodging experience ever! I checked out after one night, and they are trying to bill me for 3 additional nights. This place is a rip-off!"

"Beautiful room, looks brand new and was nicely appointed with very nice furniture. The fridge was retro and cute, bed was very comfortable. Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. This was nothing major, overall the room was lovely and comfortable and I would recommend this as a great place to stay. "

"Traveled with my dog... The area is very dog friendly...My first time to Oak Island. Everything exceeded my expectations. Close to the beach the island offer's several restaurants to choose from. My accommodations was great. The neighborhood absolutely beautiful.."
