"We had a wonderful stay! The area is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the cabin was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the hot tub because we spent our time relaxing at the Pagosa hot springs resort instead. We only saw the staff once when we arrived, but we were busy exploring the area and didn’t need anything during our stay. "Staff was excellent and very friendly and personable. Building needs upkeep. An ac unit for the building would be nice. It has an indoor pool and hot and without a working hvac system the entire building felt like a sauna."

"This was a perfect little getaway! Breakfast was delicious and so fun to talk to the hosts and other guests. The tranquility is incomparable to any other hotel and the horses on site brought such peace and healing! The kitchen was gorgeous and well stocked with kitchen supplies that you'd need to prepare a meal adequately. The staff was so helpful and the room was spotless. I stayed in the annex. They even helped to know where to go for dinner. The springs are close by and worth a pop in."

"The Neon Mallard bar next door was terrific. Small but very clean room. Goofy check-in process, but works well if you’re arriving after 4pm check-in time."

"This place was immaculate! The facility itself is very well maintained with super clean rooms and the beds were so comfortable. This place is right next to the river! You’ll all the love the wildlife you’ll encounter. Thank you for the wonderful stay!"

"The room was clean but the rest of the property was filthy. Staff unwilling to help. Pet fee was reasonable at $15 a night. No signage no breakfast or coffee. Staff left at night."

"It was great stay. Ac was welcomed during the day and cool at night in the tent structure to turn it off. Great paths to walk along steams and deer wander thru. Bring sleep mask if you are not an early riser. Dawn is beautiful though!"
