"I would not stay here again. Communication prior to arrival was non existent after multiple attempts through email, WhatsApp, phone calls and IG. The transportation and tour booking help that was promised in their description was therefor not met. Upon arrival I mentioned this and the response from the manager was that yes, this is known issue but there was nothing they could do. "This place is a diamond in the rough. We almost missed the turn onto the uphill, dirt road that looks like you're going the wrong way. But at the top of the hill, you'll find this beautiful property. The infinity pool and view are incredible. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The room was very nice. Could have used a steamer or iron, and they probably could have provided if I had asked them. No TV --- but that was actually a plus because this place is meant to be a very calming...

"Nestled into the nature preserve. We were there at the start of the offseason. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and the view was epic. The pool area and restaurant were amazing. We plan on coming back someday to Costa Rica and if on the Pacific side we will spend more days here. Can’t recommend this place enough."

"There were so many monkeys every day. We saw toucans Maciel’s, spider monkeys and capuchins. There are so many trees and flowers that makes this place so beautiful. The staff were so lovely and helped us organize tours and taxis while we were there. The beach is right in front and this area of Costa Rica is so beautiful. "

"Sauberes, sehr einfaches Zimmer im Hostel, bequemes Bett, Moskitonetz an den Fenstern, mitten im Wald gelegen, freundliches Personal. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sanitäte Anlagen sind ok. Die wenig entfernte Schnellstraße ist etwas zu hören, stört aber nicht, da nachts eher wenig Verkehr ist."
