"The Great Aspen Chateau was a great place for a large family gathering. We had 12 adults, a teenager, a 3year old and an infant with plenty of beds and comfortable space for everyone. We drove from 3 states with 5 cars, and it was no problem parking them. Entry to the property was easy and Kelly’s directions to the house were great. "My husband and I came with our 2 teenage children again this year. They participated in the Compass program at Montreat College and we stayed close by in this cabin. "This house was a perfect size for our family. The kids could watch tv in the back room, I could sit and read in the front room, the pool was huge, although the weather wasn't conducive for swimming, the fire pit in the front was a great spot for sipping wine and creating s'mores. A couple of the appliances needed maintenance but, hey, that happens. The house was well-appointed and we had a great time there. "

She went beyond what was required, and we appreciate it so much. The cottage is so cute - as my daughter said - Adorable! Wi-Fi worked perfectly. television is good as well. "This is a wonderful house for a large family vacation. We had a group of 15 and there was more than enough room for us to be comfortable. There was a power outage in Black Mountain. I emailed the host and water and flashlights were delivered to us very quickly. The best part of the trip was sitting on the porch looking at that beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again."

"Our family of five, all adults, and furry members enjoyed the location, quietness, hot tub and visiting the Black Mountain Sourwood Festival. The location of the property is great. The drive up rocky driveway with some ruts was like an added theme ride, but do-able. The cabin itself is very roomy and for our short stay was very nice. "
