"Pleasantly surprised! Unbelievable property unique would definitely recommend to all. Bring your own food stock up at Lowe’s in alpine. Enjoyed grilling out lunch on the road. Breakfast was sufficient. "

"Good location for accessing local nature, walking distance to one cafe and small driving distance to many more. Quiet with great view of the stars. "

"What a great place to kick back, watch the amazing stars, watch an abundance of wildlife, and an occasional black bear. The owners of this property were absolutely top notch with such hospitality. Mark and Michelle were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Big Bend area. It is a little bit of a drive, but trust me, it is well worth it! If you are wanting to experience a true night sky with zero light pollution, this truly is the spot to visit! You wont be disappointed! Thank you Mark &...

"Very different and unique - gives you a feel of the outdoors with comfort and convenience of modern living. We used this place as a basecamp for our daily adventures and would recommend for individuals. Also has a pet roadrunner whom just hung around us a lot…. "

"We found this to be the perfect place to stay as we explored Big Bend. Perfect combination of feeling remote and safety with the other units on the property. The shared cantina was a great place to chat with other people and have access to a full kitchen and grills. Large property with a fun short hike and lots of area to explore when hanging out near the room. Would highly recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the dome. The dome is small but still spacious. There are 2 plug outlets that can hold only cell phone/tablet/watch. No cell phone service (tmobile). The host did a really good job at giving instructions on how to get to the property as we lost cell service. The entrance to Big Bend is 20 minutes. The seclusion of the property was great! I would stay again if we decide to visit another time. "

"Fantastic property. Perfect for up to 4 people. Nice and secluded and the night sky was perfect. I would and already have recommended this to anyone interested in visiting the area."

"This property was between Alpine and Terlingua, so it is pretty remote. The area is beautiful and the motel property was cute. The room was clean, my only criticism is the beds were too firm for my liking. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. I definitely recommend."

"We loved the area! The property is serene and quiet and we loved staying there!"

"The place was amazing, surrounded by mountains, very quiet and we got to see lots of stars and the Milky way. The little chalet we stayed was confortable and quaint. The road to acces the place was the only things I didn't like, probably because we had a flat tire, but two samaritans came to our rescue, Valente and Vladimir, very greatful, specially because of the heat. We were free to use a really nice kitchen, fully equipped, were we cooked the food we brought."

"Close to Big Bend, awesome star gazing (we brought our own reclining lawn chairs for just that purpose"

"A place like this the view and location are what makes or break one. The location is right in the ghost town! Food and entertainment are right there! The view is unbelievable! I have never seen better. The room was great. Everything we needed! Outdoor kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of places to sit to taking in all of the beauty. The patio was comfortable and also had great sitting options. "

"My Husband and I were so happy with our stay at this beautiful little cabin over Easter weekend! The host was wonderful and incredibly responsive. Amenities were great, exactly as listed and no surprises! We were able to be secluded from others to enjoy the serenity of the desert. We took advantage of the wonderful food at the lodge up the road as well as the showers. 10/10 would recommend this place to ANYONE looking for the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of West Texas. "
