"Lovely setting for the wedding"

"Rooms need upgrading on the 2nd floor. We arrived 1pm. Check in normally 2pm. Reception wanted £10 extra for each room for an early check in. PARKING EASY £4 PER NIGHT "

"The breakfast food was spot on Fresh tomatoes ,fresh mushrooms, Eggs cooked just as i asked soft yoke, a perfect selection of sundries, The evening meal, was excellent, with a very varied menu to suit all tastes, The Irish coffee i asked for was very bitter, so much so i actually could not taste the whiskey. Another major downside was the tedious matter of having to que up at the bar to order food, , Table service ordering has been stopped, I found this bizarre for a hotel to adopt this...

"Excellent staff first and foremost can’t fault them. Room spacious and clean. Food excellent. Breakfast excellent. Can’t complain about anything. Would definitely recommend and stay there again."

"Extremely comfortable bed and spacious room. Far too hot and unable to control the heat. No remote control for tv and had to ask 4 times for it when it finally arrived in time for leaving the tv didn’t work as the WiFi was too weak. Bit of a disaster affecting everything as I was travelling solo and relied on the tv for company "

"Good sized room, very centrally located next to shops, restaurants, and transport. The hotel is a little dated but it was very clean. The staff were all lovely and really make you feel welcomed."

"Excelent hotel, the only problem is that is far from metro (30 min walk), but you can get a bus (2,5 pounds for a 5 minutes ride) that leaves you very near."

"We made our booking via a partner agent on arrival we were told to had to pay for parking which we weren’t aware of. £5 per night. We’ve stayed here many times over the years & never paid for parking . Despite pre checking in online the day before arrival with both guests details there was only 1 set of towels. Room was clean although I found an extremely long black hair in the bathroom I have a blonde bob. Value for money it served its purpose for our hiking break."

"O aquecimento de água deixa a desejar. Se não quiser tomar um banho de água fria, melhor tomar um banho de Gato. Quanto à arrumação do quarto... Minha filha arrumação melhor."

"The hotel is lovely and well situated. We had a suite which can accommodate a family of 5. The pool was nice and clean (but water was a little on the cooler side). There were floats and noodles the kids could use as aids. The gym and sauna are nice but we didn’t get to use them. The room service menu is good and well ranging. Not many staff on reception at check out."

"Room was ok . Dull dark decor and v small television. Table light worked but wonky and carpet threadbare in some areas . Clean . Check in was not very welcoming , lady seemed rushed and no pleasantries . Asked for more milk which didn’t get . Meal in the evening was good . Sticky toffee sauce was more like weak caramel. Decided not to stay the night so returned home so can’t comment on breakfast. Staff serving meal v good . "
