"We had such an amazing time during our stay here. We brought our son, and 3 of his friends, to celebrate his 14th birthday. They had a blast fishing and swimming in the river. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and we enjoyed the peaceful setting. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. We hope to visit again! "

"What a great property and home. We saw all kinds of wildlife there. The home has a lot of information of what to do around the Bedford area. Clean and comfortable place to stay. Just remember to bring bug spray, the area all around has a lot of mosquitoes even in Bedford. "

"We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. "Wonderful spot, loved the decor and the coziness of the cabin. Loved the gas fireplace as well. Check in and out was so easy…our daughter arrived before we did and she was able to interact with the hosts over the phone to check in. Close to Flight 93 Memorial site which is a must visit!!"

"This was hands-down our favorite mountain stay in PA! Bruce has done such a nice job with the treehouse. It envelopes you in peace and tranquility to allow your stress to drift its way down the river. "Not a far drive from the Raystown Resort which offers a beautiful lake to walk around at, fish to feed and a very fun water park. It’s a little on the small side but fun! Also several things to do on the lake and a pizza place that is delicious. Some convenience stores not to far from the cabin. Beautiful area with lots of wildlife!"

"Best sunset views anywhere! Very relaxing stay — exactly what was needed for a getaway with the kids. Well appointed house. Fun yard games. Close enough to drive to PawPaw or Cacapon for hiking or kayaking. But also just perfect for disconnecting, relaxing and enjoying the the show the sky puts on every evening!"

"Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!"

"My partner and I enjoyed our 2 night stay in the River Cabin at River Mountain Farm. The cabin is teeny, nothing fancy but cozy and just as listed. Great shower in bathroom and Starbucks k-cups each morning. We had a straight shot past the barn and shed to the river where we took out 2 of the kayaks available and I caught 7 fish early Sunday morning. I didn’t want to leave the tranquility of this little slice of heaven. Would love to go back sometime!"
