Welcome to Destiny Splash located in the exclusive gated community of Destiny East! This amazing Destin vacation rental home was just beautifully renovated & offers an open floor plan from all common areas out to the private pool (that can be heated for an additional fee) & patio lounge area where you can soak up the Florida sun or grill out for a family BBQ right from your back yard. This home also comes with a complimentary 6 seater street legal golf cart and 4 bikes with helmets, so you can head over to the Destiny East clubhouse where you’ll find the community pool or to the beach just a short ride away. If you are ready for a relaxing beach vacation, reserve Destiny Splash vacation rental & start packing!

Upon entering this beautifully decorated vacation rental home you are welcomed by a comfortable living area that offers a large HDTV, 2 queen-size sleeper sofas, 2 recliners & a 1/2 bath. The kitchen offers brand-new stainless steel appliances, a Keurig machine, a regular coffee maker, &everything you would need to prepare a home-cooked meal. The breakfast bar, indoor & outdoor dining areas offer ample seating. The sliding glass doors surrounding the private pool area & patio open up entirely giving this home an open floor plan concept with an abundant amount of space. The private pool area offers a wet bar with a mini fridge & an outdoor lounge area with an HDTV. Likewise, the master king suite offers an open floor concept leading right out to the patio pool area but also allows for privacy. Furthermore, it offers a lounge area, an HDTV, additional bedding such as a day bed with a trundle bed, a private bath with a jacuzzi tub & walk-in shower. But the best part of the master suite is the heavenly luxurious fully adjustable massaging king bed will have you snoozing peacefully through the night. The second room is a king suite with an HDTV & private bath. The third room is a bunk room with 2 twin over queen beds, an HDTV, & private bath. A laundry room is conveniently located at the home. Destiny Splash can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, bring family & friends!

As an added bonus, the owners have provided baby items such as a pack-n-play, baby gate, booster seat, baby high chair, baby floats/lifejacket, and plenty of beach toys and gear to make your vacation even more of a breeze!

Destiny East is an exclusive gated community that offers several amenities including a clubhouse, 2 neighborhood pools, a hot tub, a fitness center, a movie theater, tennis, and basketball courts, a BBQ area with an outdoor kitchen, walking trails, & playground! The neighborhood is located on pedestrian and golf cart-friendly Scenic 98. So you can walk down to the beach to catch a sunset or take a relaxing bike ride. We also offer golf cart rentals at a discounted price, so if you're interested please let us know!

House was very well stocked with beach items including coolers, chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. The house is beautiful and very conveniently located near the hwy for easy access out of the community.

Great location

The house was in a gated area and location was perfect. Great places to eat nearby, just a golf cart ride away. The golf cart and bicycles came in very handy. The pool was awesome. The house was laid out nicely and was clean. The only faults I would say is that the house needs some long over due updates and the front bedroom doesn’t get cool. The outdoor space also need some updating.

Nice roomy living area, clean, very nice kitchen which is well stocked with dishes/cooking utensils/appliances; pool is small and close to highway but nice place to cool off. Nice neighborhood. There is no private beach access; golf cart is provided for about a 5 minute ride to public beaches which are quite crowded in summer and parking can be difficult if you don't go early. Strict 4 pm check-in on our check-in day.

needs updated and a good cleaning

Beautiful neighborhood, lovely streets, but inside was very disappointing. Torn screens on birdcage let lots of leaves in the pool. Couch and chairs were very worn and spotted. Looked to me the that whole house needs several updates and deep cleaning. Nice golf cart and bikes. Ice maker was great in the garage.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time during our stay at Destiny Splash! The beach and toddler supplies were above average. It was so nice not having to travel with beach chairs, a toddler potty, toys, etc. However, we do have a few notes. The provided golf cart was awesome! We loved that it was included in our stay. When charging, the golf cart tripped the breaker multiple times and we lost power to part of the house. At one point, the whole house lost power and we had to call maintenance to figure out how to reset it. The pool filter quit working on day 4 of our stay. There were no scissors to be found anywhere in the house. The bikes did not have any air in the tires, and there was no provided pump. The dryer vent was unhooked when we arrived. All in all, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location and the provided golf cart made it feel worth it. The master bed is SO comfy!! The living room furniture was pretty dirty, to be honest.

One thing that could have been a little cleaner was the bathrooms, around the showers outside was dirty, you could tell it’s never been scrubbed or cleaned well. Also, the kitchen by the counter chairs was rather dirty. You could also tell the floor/that area never gets a good clean. There was also mold in the 2 guests showers. Which was taken care of while we were there. Another suggestion I would give would be to have the golf cart & bike codes on a paper for guests to view when they get there. I had to call to get them as I couldn’t find them in my check in emails or anywhere. Maybe a piece of paper with the gate code, door code, golf cart code & bike codes on it would be a good idea. We really enjoyed staying there, loved the location & the beautiful community pool! :)

Reviewer Comments: The home is in a good location and we’ve always enjoyed our stays in this housing development (this was our third stay). We were met with some disappointment upon arrival to find there was no golf cart. After some calls (the staff were very responsive) we learned the previous renters wrecked it. The management company provided us with a loaner, but not until the next day and only after we had to complete lengthy paperwork (again). Overall the home is more outdated than the pictures present. The patio furniture was moldy and ill fitting. Inside furniture was also well past its prime, including beds and couches. The shower in the second master is almost to small for any adult to use and tiles in the master shower were cracked and broken. We still enjoyed our stay in Destin, but you may want to reconsider staying in this home.

Annual Florida Trip

We normally stay in a condominium but this was the first time staying in a home. The home is in a great neighborhood and within golf cart or driving distance to the beach. The home was spacious, clean and had all the amenities needed for a five day trip. The owners golf cart was out of commission so we were able to have a 6 seater which was a nice touch. Management was friendly and check in very easy. Each couple had their own bathroom which was also a plus. Our only call out was the sliding glass door would stick and the child alarm would trigger quickly. I think it’s just from over use. Overall I’d recommend this home for couples or a small group of friends!

Had a great week but a little disappointing.

The check in process was easy and property manager got back to us quickly. But when we first arrived the pool was filthy, there was dirt all over the bottom and hair with hair ties wrapped around the ladder. The water was cloudy and we were not able to swim in it. We did contact the property manager and the next day the pool guy came and it was much better for the rest of the week. The sinks were not draining well in the bathrooms only to discover hair clogging the drains. There was water leaking between the kitchen and the laundry pantry/laundry room area which never resolved. But Destin is a beautiful area and the gated community was nice so in that regard it was a good week. The golf cart was not well maintained and filthy when we got there so we had to clean it before using. After the pool was clean it did make the stay much more enjoyable but the house was not as clean as we had hoped.

House was very clean and very spacious! HOA is very ruthless and will give you a ticket for just about anything they don’t like. 1/4 of my back tire was touching the grass and got a $50 ticket so just be careful.

Wonderful place

This experience was fantastic. It was our first time visiting Destin but it will not be our last. The property was well furnished and well maintained. Checking in was a breeze also. We thoroughly enjoyed and would happily stay here again in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 3 families stay here for spring break. We did have an issue with some mold in one of the showers. Emailed maintenance late in the evening, first thing the next morning, they were knocking on the door ready to clean it. They were great about getting it taken care of quickly. This didn't bother us too much but it may for someone else. We never touched the thermostat, it stayed at 70 the entire time, but house never got cool, always stayed between 72-76 consistently. Like I said, it didn't bother us, so we never called maintenance. Overall, the house was excellent and we had a wonderful time. Would absolutely go back there again.

Spring Break at Destiny Splash

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pro: The gated community park area was awesome, we used it often tho the pool was not heated. The house clean and had ample seating for any meals. The 3 1/2 baths was perfect for our group. The maintenance man came to fix the stove when he said he would and the rental company customer service was very helpful. The pools cushions looked new. Cons: I had double checked to be sure the pool would be clean and paid $300 to have it heated. The pool co had not been there due to a storm but it wasn’t until Thursday that we felt heat and someone must have backwashed the pump. Quite disappointing. There was a broken recliner and end table, the gas was on in the grill when we arrived. The house needs quite a few small things fixed. Loved the house but not sure we’d choose to rent it again due to the needed upkeep. Again good customer service. Wonderful beach close by.
