Great Condo!

Great location on the beach! Loved waking up every morning and sitting on the balcony to drink coffee while overlooking the ocean. Very peaceful yet right in the middle of the main road (98).

Overall it's a good little vacation spot. If you like to cook your own meals, please bring cooking utensils and pot holders, there were none available. Also, if you have small children; the traffic noise is a bit loud on the street side.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location. Located directly on the beach with easy, convenient parking. It was an easy drive to shopping, restaurants & activities. Great views. Perfect for 3 people.

Nice and roomy

Nice condo and very friendly and attentive staff. Close to many restaurants and things to do. We left some personal items in the condo and they were able to get the items and were able to mail them to us. There were 5 people in our party and we had plenty of room. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice condo

The view from the balcony is just amazing. Such a great unit that maximizes every square foot of space. Shower was powerful, AC was really cold, and Ice maker in the freezer was a workhouse. It's got little wear and tear cosmetic imperfections but makes up for it in function.

Great unit . Well stocked . Was clean ! Only negative was bedrooms were in front and a cross from Alvins Island . The lights from there made it difficult to sleep at night .

It was so dirty. Beds were not comfortable, the bunk beds were not sturdy. The staff were so rude. The view is the only good thing.

Great location, but condo needs some updating

Great location right on the beach and overall property was nice. The bunk beds were not sturdy at all, screws were coming out that we had to constantly screw back in. Lights weren’t all working and the master bedroom mattress was as hard as a rock! The property was great, but the condo definitely needs some work!

Dirty and outdated

Beds old and saggy, floors dirty, feet black after walking on them, rugs dirty, sink in bathroom held water long time after using, couch dirty and worn out. The whole place needs redone, and repainted. Would not book again.

A dirty very used condo with a incredible view

The condo is right on the beach with fantastic views of the gulf. The complex is very nice with a great heated pool and hot tub, grills for cooking, security and a private beach. The condo is very dirty and obviously just a rental. It has not had enough maintenance to keep up with the abuse. From talking with others, there are some nice condos in this building that are better cared for. I would continue your search

Do not rent!!!!

This place is horrible! Beds aren't comfortable, very outdated and feels dirty. The elevator is outside and the parking is not gated so anyone can come and go. Not enough towels so laundry daily. No chairs or anything for convenience. The only positive is the view but you can get the same view same price in a different resort with much better amenities.

Nice vacation

Nice, clean property. We enjoyed the stay. We had family staying at SunDestin which was a little difficult due to the strict policies of no one can go to the beach from sterling sands unless you have an arm band. So when my daughter and her family came to visit us at our condo they couldn’t walk down the beach to theirs, they had to walk down the sidewalk in front. Other than that the filters aren’t correct they had it advertised as room for 6 but due to the square footage they only allow 4 to the condo. It worked out okay as two of the family that were trying to go weren’t able to. There was a beautiful view from the balcony and I would recommend it to others.

July 2017 Stay

First time in Destin. Great family experience. The condo was great. The pots and pans need replacing if you plan on cooking. a little outdated. Scarlet and Pam at the front desk are amazing. Someone give them a raise. The only draw back of the whole week was the beach service. Those guys were rude an obnoxious. Didn't care if I used the service or not. I stood there and listened to them complain about the guest if one had a problem. please retrain in the noble art of the customers always right. Their job is tourism right.

Older Condo, expensive for what it was, but overall convenient location...

The cleanliness when we arrived wasn't terrible, but my kids asked for clorox wipes to clean a few areas in their room and I'd say that has never happened... The age of the condo probably attributed to the cleanliness rating. The air intake for the a/c was rusted and overall just looks like a 20+ year property that has been minimally painted versus upgraded. Bathrooms smelled as well. I think it was just in the old piping, but didn't go away the entire time we were there. The overall location to other areas and beach was convenient, but get ready to drop $400+ if you want to have an umbrella and chairs...

Short weekday stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we got there we found out that you can’t use the beach unless you pay for their chairs and umbrellas which cost 55 bucks per day, we had three if us so that would have cost us more than a hundred dollars per day. We ended up going to a different beach the whole time we were there. We only had two rolls of single ply toilet paper to last 4 days, with two women that is impossible. The dryer was broken so we couldn’t use it. The mattress in the master bedroom was like sleeping on a box spring. The chair on the balcony was falling apart. The plus was parking was pretty good and the air conditioning worked great. The view was really awesome , just couldn’t enjoy the beach there. A stark reminder why I would never live in an HOA run property.

This condo needs an update! The beach view was great but do t expect to see a full sunset.

The location was in the heart of Destin. Conveniently located near restaurants although traffic was loud and lights from surf shops were very bright. The condo needs an update. The couches smelled, the carpet in the master was dirty and didn’t look swept from the previous people. The pool and beach were easily accessible but the elevator is very busy. The master bathtub was clogged after our first use but was fixed quickly by maintenance. The bunk beds were perfect with three kids but very loose and wobbly. The kitchen is updated but we did not use it to make meals. The bathrooms need to be cleaned better and updates are needed. More towels rods and hooks need to be added for bath towels, beach towels and swimsuits. I would not stay here again but it worked for this vacation.

Beautiful oceanfront condo

Beautiful oceanfront condo, gorgeous views; we were on the top floor, very quiet. The unit was clean with plenty of towels. On the negative side, the bunkbeds in the second bedroom were a little rickety, they swayed a lot when you climbed up to the top bunk. The bathrooms were small and dated. The kitchen was nice and well equipped, except there’s no coffee so make sure you bring some! They have both a regular coffee maker and a Keurig. I was surprised that you couldn’t get K cups from the front desk, that is a small amenity that most hotels offer. We booked over VRBO and so paid a lot for the weekend, with all the fees and everything. I saw it listed later on booking.com(after I already had my reservation) for much cheaper! The beachfront was nice and the chair rental people were very friendly. It was $36 a day for two chairs and umbrella. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar so we had to walk .4 miles down the beach to the back porch bar and grill where they had really good beach cocktails. I think a lot of people just brought coolers; there is a liquor store right across the street from the hotel. The pool area was very nice and had a hot tub. Overall we had a really good trip!
