Relax on our large balcony directly on the water and enjoy your time on the Emerald Coast. Pelican Beach Resort and Conference Center is one of the top destinations for families and a beach that Southern Living Magazine voted #1 in the country! This condo includes all the amenties you could dream of for your time on the coast. We are continuing to update, so please check back for progress to make your time on the Emerald Coast more pleasurable! The condo includes a King Bed in the Master with private bathroom, a Queen sleeper sofa, and two bunks and another full bathroom. Plenty of room for 6 people! The resort is located in the heart of Destin, near family activities and every restaurant imaginable. Swing by the front desk if you would like a recommendation or need directions at any point during your stay. We are located directly across the street from Big Kahuna's Waterpark. Just a mere minute from several chain grocery stores, you will find it easy to stock your refrigerator with supplies. A movie theater, fishbowl bowling alley, and shopping are minutes away for fun and entertainment! From your spacious 16th floor condo, watch the dolphins play in the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, or spend your day swimming and sunbathing in the gulf or in any of the 3 resort pools. Thirsty? Grab a refreshing beverage at the Beachside Tiki Bar if you desire a pina colada, bushwacker, or other refreshing beverage. After a day of frolicking in the sun, grill a delicious steak and your local catch on one of the many resort grills just a few steps from your balcony. You can also unwind in the beachfront hot tub while the kids enjoy pizza or fun in the resort arcade. no response from owner if we could check in an hour and a half early. multiple elevators were broken down.(upgrading them!) too bad they fixed one of them and it was broken the next day again. Be prepared to pay 300 to sit on rental chairs for the week. you are not allowed to put your personal chairs near the ocean and you will have to sign a contract at check in saying it's ok. building and unit are worn but not in disrepair.. grounds crew kept up with cleaning every day! view was beautiful. can't see sunsets or sunrise from the position of the balcony..

Very clean. The elevators were horrible and messed up a lot while there but nothing to do with the room. Probably the cleanest room ever stayed in. Very nice and would recommend to anyone.

relaxing in Destin

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We enjoyed the frozen 'virgin' drinks from the tiki bar and the convenience of having a restaurant at the condo. The condo had everything that we needed for our stay. We really appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit too! The only thing that we had a challenge with was the safety rails on the bunkbeds, but we adapted and overcame by placing some pillows against them for more safety and comfort. A big thank you to the owners for sharing your condo with us. :)

Very clean and comfortable. Newly renovated bathrooms. We had everything we needed. Amazing view of the gulf and beach. Easy access to the beach. The food and drink accommodations were great. Owner's provided detail instructions on parking and access. We really enjoyed our beach time and sightseeing. We'll be coming back again.

Amazing property and an amazing beach! The only reason it wasnt 5 stars was because the keurig had blacj and brow smudges that we cleaned, and thete was food on the floor when we arrived. The house was lovely, but it was not the same property as what was on the listingsm

Great Home away from Home!

This was the perfect place to stay for our first trip to Destin. From the ease of the check in process to the magnificent views of the beautiful emerald waters and the soft white sand on the beach this place couldn't have been any better. The owner, Shannon was on top of any questions we had, answering our emails literally within 5 minutes! The condo was extremely clean, well laid out and organized... and so thankful for the washer and dryer! We went between spring break and before schools let out for the summer, which was the perfect time to enjoy the amenities of the beach and condo complex without so many crowds! The whole vibe of this place was just amazing! We will definitely be looking to book Shannon and Todd's condo this fall when we return to Destin!

Will not rent again

I will not rent from here again. They have cheap cooking utensils, dishes were put away dirty, pot and pans are old, no matter how much oil/spray you used the food still stuck to the bottom. Wore a new pair of white socks for a few minutes until I noticed the bottom of the socks were filthy. The floor had not been swept or mop before we arrived. The master bathroom shower had to be cleaned before we could use it as there was hair all over the walls. We pulled out the coach to sleep on it to hear the ocean and it was full of food underneath it. Both ceiling fans did not work. The laundry room light did not work. No dish rags to was the dishes, just a sponge even though it stated in the accommodations there would be a dish rag. We didnā€™t like the layout of the room as the bedroom was by the entry door which was in the back of the condo. We thought the bedroom was located in front off the living room so we could have the window open to hear the ocean and this was not the case.

Priceless Reunion

Our children and grandchildren were staying nearby so this was the perfect spot for us. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and having the 2nd bath was so convenient. Spending time with our family was priceless. Thank you!

Grout around tub was moldy, shower liner was moldy, sink drain was plugged and my husband fixed it, no batteries in the remotes for the ceiling fans (so we could not use them), under the toilet bowl rims - it was black with mold. Previous garbage bags had leaked and the can was filthy, there was a load of washed wet towels left in the washer which I rewashed and dried, mop boards were dirty, patio door tracks were also not clean.
