Snowbird Season runs November thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Contact us for alternate date requests and further assistance! All monthly rentals are subject to an additional $150 cleaning fee.

**A building-wide floor resurfacing project will begin in early October 2023 and conclude in late January 2024. Occupants of Pelican Beach Resort may hear grinding during the work hours from 8:00 am and will end at 5:00 pm daily Monday through Friday, with a possibility of some Saturdays.

This Beach Front Resort offers spacious meeting facilities, THREE Pools including Gulf Front pool, Lake Front pool at The Terrace, an indoor/outdoor pool (seasonally heated), kiddie pool, laundry facilities on each floor, TWO fitness centers, outdoor gas grills, tennis courts, and even a video game room!

The Pelican Tiki Bar is the lively beachside bar ā€“ stop by and ask your friendly bartender to mix you a refreshing drink to take to the beach or sit by the pool.Ā The Pelican Beach CafĆ© brews fresh coffee and is open for breakfast mornings at 8 serving yummy pastries and breakfast sandwiches. You can order lunch and take it to the pool or beach (note, this is closed November to January) You can even order a beach set up right at the private boardwalk leading to the beach. This is our 4th time at Pelican Beach but our first in 10 years. Some things we love about it: the pools, the gas grills, the location. Some things we like less now than we did before: the cost of beach chair rentals (used to be 25/day, now itā€™s 45-55/day). The smokersā€”you canā€™t sit on the balcony at all without the stench of cigarette smoke. Itā€™s gross. The elevators. It was packed at the resort, and they only had two of the 4 elevators working. If you are staying at floor 4 and lower, get used to stairs. The unit itself was ok except:ā€”Drain in master tub was clogged, meaning after a shower you were in 3 inches of your own dirt water.ā€”Extra blankets would be niceā€”Small table out back would help, just 4 cheap chairā€”no grilling equipment, no tongs or spatulas (just a plastic one)ā€”Better pans, the two provided are pretty cruddy and clearly very old. ā€”No room in guestbook, itā€™s full (so whatā€™s the point?)ā€”No games or anything

Spring Break

Our family had a great spring break trip in Destin on the beach. One thing we wished we knew ahead of time, in order to enjoy the beach you need to rent chairs otherwise there is a very limited area to hang out and people reserve these days to months in advance. Our condo smelled clean when we got there. We did find floss threaders under the bed and dirty clothes next to the wall of the bunk beds otherwise we were happy with everything else.

Amazing

We had an amazing stay! Walking into the room and seeing the beach view was everything we wanted and so much more. It was kid friendly and our kids loved the bunk beds. They had a great supply of towels which was great. The bedding was comfortable as well. Overall we had such a great stay. Would definitely be back

Overall the location of our room couldnā€™t have been better ! The view was amazing, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The room itself couldā€™ve been better . Not very clean , seen two roaches . One of the showers was not even worth using . The water pressure was so bad.

Great Stay!

Stay was immaculateā€¦The room views were incredible!! Constriction was not a problem. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Definitely will book this exact spot again. The resort is in the middle of everything, drives were less than 10 min either way. We enjoyed ourselves!

The Pelican property was undergoing major renovations during our stay. Although there are 5 elevators on property, only 3 were working. There was generally a line of people waiting to use them. We were thankful we were on the 3rd floor and could use the stairs.

This condo was clean and as it's described online. Awesome view! And nice that the beach is just a few steps away! It is in a good location. There was some issues with the elevators (only 2 working at a time), and some loud construction going on....but all in all a great place!

Floors need attention

This location and property were exactly as described. Perfect for our vacation. Only a few issues. Ceiling fan in bedroom did not work. Hair dryer in second bathroom got so hot the coils were red and smelled very hot. The floors were very dirty. So dirty our feet were black. Other than that it was great!

Room was perfect and very clean. Real Joy vacations was great to work with. Very communicative. Only complaint is beach is very busy and you basically need to rent a chair to be able to have a space but otherwise property was great!!

Little Snag

Upon arrival, we discovered that the room had not been cleaned properly prior to our stay. They offered to have someone come and clean but we were already fully moved in and didnā€™t want anyone coming in. They did bring us extra towels and sheets to replace everything. The condo was just as advertised. We had lots of fun despite the start.

Right on the Beach!!

It was a perfect property- right on the beach so the kids could enjoy as they wanted. Every night before bed they walked the beach and loved it. Was perfect to come in and rest from the sun, eat lunch and enjoy the pool and hot tubs too! Super relaxing and close to everything.
