"My elderly parents and I were elated throughout our stay in this lovely cabin with vintage flair. It is within walking distance to Cuyamaca Lake and within a short drive to Julian. The cabin is very clean, and it has all the kitchen essentials, laundromat combo, TV, WiFi, etc. We have stayed here before, and we were glad to come back for the peace and tranquility we enjoy in these paradise-like surroundings. "My wife and I come to the San Diego area to watch our daughter play soccer. We opted to stay out of the busy city and in this tiny home. This was our first time in a tiny home and we loved it! We'd wake up and have a coffee poolside and enjoy the views, go to the beach and soccer games during the day, and then come back and relax in the tiny house the rest of the night. "Our family stayed here for a weekend fishing trip to Lake Cuyamaca (about a 10 minute drive from the cabin). It was absolutely beautiful and so tranquil. Our family had everything we could ask for in terms of supplies and “at home” comforts in the cabin. The host was great and very responsive. "The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job. There was a pull-out cutting board that hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival and water was pooled at the bottom of the fridge with pieces of food floating in it. We stayed for one week and there was only 1 roll of paper towels provided, 1 additional roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extra trash...

"It is a quaint little rustic cabin tucked away in the woods. The deck is lovely spot to spend a morning drinking some coffee and watching the variety of birds that fly by. I had an issue with my truck and was able to quickly communicate with John about staying an extra day and even getting to check out a little later, closer to when my truck would be fixed.Definitely recommend staying here!"

"I decided at the last minute to get away for four days to a VERY quiet place because my sweet, calm dog is terrified of fireworks: he trembled all night.
