"We stayed in a family room. The room was clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was roomy and very clean. The view from the balcony was wonderful. We used the swimming pool and the staff there were helpful and accommodating. The swimming pool is on the small size so can get busy. The staff on the front desk and bar were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. Overall a really good experience and relaxing stay."

"This hotel is now overdue an upgrade, the furniture in the rooms is now very dated. Decor and carpets along the corridors need changing as been down at least 10yrs. We knew this hotel was never top of the range but always suited us for location. The buffet breakfast was adequate but very cheap ingredients. Cold buffet was almost nonexistent. We had to wait approximately 12/15mins for 2 fried eggs and we were the only people eating at the time. I asked if the eggs were on their way as I felt we’d...

"The rooms were lovely and clean, loads of seating space around reception and they were happy to hold our bags until we could check in. The staff were all super lovely, I will absolutely stay there again."

"Lovely friendly place and first class service"

"Lovely old property, it was right for us within nice walking distance to darley park for a concert( 20 mins). Very quiet area, slept lovely, comfy bed and pillows. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Perhaps needs a bit of tlc and promoting as it didn't seem busy and really should be. If the outside door looks closed late at night just push it you can get in. Good value for money."
