"My wife and I were looking for a quick get away, Keiths cottage was perfect. It had water access to the south bay where we were able to kayak and enjoy watch the bird activity. The home was super clean and had plenty of space to relax. It was a quick drive to the shops and restaurants in downtown Newport. Keith was quick to respond to any questions that we had. I would defiantly stay here again."

"Isbell and Isbellita were truly wonderful and the oasis we needed for the weekend! Everything was perfect, we spent the whole day on the lake, and it is conveniently located. The house is cozy and warm and has plenty of sleeping options. I slept on the porch which was particularly delightful. Also, Bread and Puppet is a 15 minute drive away — I’d highly recommend giving them a visit! On the whole, it was so lovely and it was the perfect birthday getaway. "

"We were looking for a place to stay while 4 wheeling in Vermont. This place fit the bill. "

"The cottage is absolutely perfect! It was just the right size for our family of 4, plus our dog. The location is very quiet at the end of a road with beautiful views. The cottage is very comfortable with just enough modern updates. The private beach is shared with the other homes on the road but not crowded. Sandy lake bottom that’s shallow for quite a ways out, great for kids. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard. We have already reserved for next year!"

"We enjoyed having the Maybrook Cottage as our home base during our annual weeklong visit to Vermont. Our young kids loved the location and the nearby waterfall to explore. The hosts are very easy to communicate with, and have done a wonderful job restoring these vintage cabins. Would definitely return!"

"A really lovely space for a relaxing stay. Mostly a large open room with one open loft bedroom and another bedroom that is very private. This worked out well for us because we were traveling with our 20 year old daughter and her boyfriend and they wanted privacy while we just wanted to hang out. My only heads up is that the stairs to the loft bedroom were a bit treacherous. I'm in my 50s and got a good workout from them but if you have any problems with climbing or heights or if you have little...
