Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

It was a cute cottage on Swan Pond. It was still fairly warm this time of year and the cottage was pretty hot. AC window units were moldy so we just dealt with it. Primary bathroom down stairs seemed to have a shower door that was under construction and a little dangerous to be honest. We were looking forward to sitting down by the water but the yard and landscaping was pretty overgrown so we didn’t get to enjoy it.. neighbors are kind of out of your control, but they were outside yelling and cussing every night.. overall a little disappointed.

For the most part it was very comfortable bright and cheery. The kitchen was well equipped perfect for for our use! The bathrooms were very clean, the downstairs shower had only one door but it was plain to see they were in the process of fixing it and i was still able to use it. My sister stayed in the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed and it was a lovely room, i was downstairs which also had a queen bed which was very comfortable. The only complaint I would have was the carpet in the bedrooms needed a good cleaning or replacement. They had dressers but were mostly filled with bedding and towels which it would have been nice to be able to use. The neighborhood was very nice but the house next door had quite a few vehicles and some were parked on the street which made it a bit awkward at times getting in the driveway. The most difficult was opening the lock on the door! It might've been me but i would put in the numbers it would give me the green light and when i went to open it, it would open a tiny bit and stop. Eventually it would co- operate. Both my sister and i really enjoyed our stay there and we both agreed we would return again so the negative aspects i have put down is just to improve ones stay a little bit more. We loved our time at the Cape!!!

The house overall was lovely. Quaint, beautiful view of swan pond from the deck. However, my primary issue is that the house is advertised as having AC. While the bedrooms have wall AC units, and cool the rooms beautifully, the living area does not have AC. Had this been clearly stated, we would not have rented this property. Additionally, but far less significant to us, the house is not well stocked w kitchen and laundry basics (no olive oil, one oven mitt, no dryer sheets, no extra garbage bags, no ziploc bags), which houses we rented all over the NE vacation towns have supplied. Lastly, we’ve also always had binders with the hosts recs for local eats, entertainment, etc, and clear directions about how to care for property (where to throw garbage, etc). I had to reach out to get direction as needed. Overall, it’s a costly property to not have the small and bigger ticket items noted above in place.

Gorgeous property

Lovely house great location, comfortable & clean & as advertised. Few challenges - electronic key pad did not work, took numerous tries to gain access, finally we contacted Vacasa who eventually gave us a lockbox code. The outside patio table was filthy, so we cleaned it.

Great stay on the Cape

My husband and I along with another couple had a long weekend at this home and it was great! Location was nice and easy to get to nearby restaurants and shops. House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed.

Beautiful Home with a great view

What a gorgeous home on a nice, quiet lane. Terrific local and Cape Cod theming and fully appointed with everything you could ask for. We enjoyed a lovely home cooked bbq meal one night and it was the perfect setting for it. Nice central location in the Cape to get to all tourist areas. This one is a real gem. Thank you!

Wonderful Stay

Stayed here with another couple and the house was charming. Beds were comfy and we appreciated the a/c as it was hot and muggy weather. We felt the property was easy access to the rail trail and West Dennis Beach as well as an easy drive to a sunset cruise out of Susuit Harbor. Great and charming view of Swan Pond.

Lovely area, quick responses from property with the exception of alerting them that we might have to check out early. This was the only message they did NOT acknowledge. House was quaint and lovely. Ad indicated that there was access to items for the lake but we did not have that. Overall, though would recommend as long as the cleaning is a bit more thorough (dishes needed to be washed, wet linen in the washer that began to smell after several days due to us not knowing)

Swan Pond Stay

My family truly enjoyed our stay at Swan Pond. From the back porch we could see a pair of swans and their nest! The location is convenient to so many of our favorite Cape activities. I’d highly recommend this location to any family.

August Getaway

We booked this house as a last minute getaway before school starts. The house is adorable, very nicely decorated and a well stocked kitchen . . a big bonus is that all linens were provided along with beach towels! The house was very clean, however there was evidence that the owners most likely have a dog. There was a lingering dog odor and some sort of pet hair on the furniture. I wish this was disclosed somewhere in the property rental details as I and my daughter are allergic to dogs and were effected by this during our stay - which was unfortunate (the reason I only gave a 3 star review).The property details stated no pets allowed, but no where did it say the owners have a dog. Due to this, we will not be renting this house again in the future.
