"Staff in the restaurant that served breakfast were too busy standing up front talking to wait on our party of 3. I had to get up to get a refill of coffee. Waitress took our order than joined her friends again. By the time our food was served it was cold. Cold eggs and toast - very unappetizing!"

"This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay."

"Dirty towels when we arrived, the door never shut fully, only one time during our stay did housekeeping clean out the garbage, stains on the side of both bed frames. Just downright nasty. However, staff was friendly and helpful so they have that going for them at least."

"The staff is great. They must have kept my notes from a prior stay, they put me in a corner room/ top floor which was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Bed linens impeccably clean. Interior of the room clean and well maintained. That said, cosmetically speaking, the property is showing signs of wear, which is to be expected, I suppose. Only one elevator worked room seemed a little beat up and neglected the ceiling air handler cover did not look good was not able to access the Wi-Fi that was very difficult after entering all the information and it said it wasn’t available overall was not impressed with the place. Was nice to have a bar in the same building"

"The first room we were given was occupied. The second room was dirty. The sheets that we couldn’t replace had crumbs in them. We asked the front desk staff for more sheets and towels, and they said they didn’t have access to housekeeping, so we had to reuse our dirty towels and sleep on the only clean appearing bed. The breakfast was subpar. I will never come back."
