  • Nossa linda casa, Three Bears IN THE VALLEY, está localizada nas montanhas do belo Vale Canaan no Windwood Fly-In Resort. Cercada por vistas espetaculares das áreas de esqui de Timberline e Canaã, das montanhas em cascata e da bela Mãe Natureza, nossa extraordinária casa e seus arredores irão lhe tirar o fôlego e aliviar o estresse.



    Exclusivo para esta comunidade de montanha, a pista de pouso de 3000 x 40 pés, parcialmente visível de nossa casa, pode acomodar a maioria dos pequenos aviões e helicópteros e é uma grande atração para muitos entusiastas de v��o. O restaurante de estilo familiar de Amelia est�� localizado a poucos passos da nossa casa no edif��cio Windwood Resort. Possui o melhor café da manhã e rolos de canela do Vale e também está aberto para almoço e jantar - apenas uma outra maneira de relaxar nas suas férias especiais!     A Three Bears oferece um piso conveniente e aberto com belos pisos de cerejeira brasileira em todas as áreas principais. Uma cozinha moderna e totalmente equipada, sala de jantar espaçosa, sala de estar aconchegante com lareira e uma confortável área de TV farão deste um retiro familiar que você desejará voltar também. A espaçosa cozinha tem utensílios de aço inoxidável, piso de linóleo genuíno, bancadas em granito e uma grande barra de caf�� da manhã perfeita para entretenimento. Adjacente à cozinha, há uma grande mesa de fazenda em estilo rural, com quatro tábuas e assentos nos bancos, grande o suficiente para acomodar confortavelmente seis pessoas. A lareira a gás e área de estar aconchegante com vistas espectaculares aguardam o seu corpo cansado depois de um dia espectacular a desfrutar do ar livre. A área de entretenimento totalmente equipada com uma TV de tela plana, cabo e DVD player espera por você naqueles dias que você quer apenas estar dentro e relaxar.



    Também no primeiro andar você encontrará a sala ��Spoke & Crank”, um quarto pitoresco decorado em todas as coisas de ciclismo (uma paixão nossa), perfeito para o aficionado de ciclismo! A cama queen-size Sleep Number é um tratamento especial para aqueles ossos doloridos, e há muito espaço no closet para a sua bagagem, tornando este quarto no primeiro andar uma verdadeira fuga. Uma casa de banho completa com banheira / chuveiro também está localizada no primeiro andar ao lado do quarto. A área de serviço, localizada ao lado da entrada principal, oferece opções fáceis de limpeza durante a sua estadia.



    O segundo andar da nossa casa é composto por dois quartos espaçosos (totalmente alcatifados) e uma banheira de tamanho completo. A sala de "Whispering Water", o grande quarto principal, está situado na frente da casa e permite uma vista espectacular sobre as montanhas circundantes e áreas de esqui. Acomodações neste quarto são fabulosas, incluindo uma cama king size Sleep Number, área de estar espaçosa para leitura ou relaxamento, e uma TV de tela plana. O quarto "Great Black Bear", e segundo quarto neste andar, é realmente um deleite para as crianças ou hóspedes adicionais, com duas camas de solteiro e um sofá futon para relaxar. Um grande armário abastecido com jogos de tabuleiro e outras coisas divertidas manterá a família ocupada se estar dentro é onde você quer estar.



    A área do convés lateral tem uma relaxante banheira de hidromassagem privada (quatro pessoas) com vista para as montanhas e uma área de estar agradável para aquela manhã relaxante ou pausa à noite. O deck da frente tem uma mesa de piquenique que acomoda até oito para os jantares agradáveis fora em frente das montanhas.



    Nossa casa é confortável, aconchegante, convidativo e muito bem decorado com herança de interesse local e significado histórico. A arte original é toda feita por artistas locais da WV e nossa família. This was my third stay at Three Bears in the Valley. The house is always clean and has everything you need. The hot tub is fantastic for stargazing. The owner is very responsive and Friendly.

Great stay at Three Bears

We had a great stay at Three Bears. The house is well stocked with all of the essentials, clean and well cared for. The hot tub was a big plus. We would return for another stay.

Love the property, and will probably explore some other properties next year, just to see the variety. However, Cirrus Drive is now our standard-bearer for what a Canaan Valley property should be. Everybody is great at Mountaintop (especially Frank).

The home was even nicer than I was expecting based on the photos. Very clean and spacious. The hot tub was definitely a favorite. I felt well informed throughout the booking process. Only thing that was a little difficult was figuring out how to pay the pet deposit.

The kitchen was well stocked.

The kitchen was well stocked. The furniture was very comfortable and well maintained. The team was wonderful. Upon arrival to the rental I called because I could not get cable. They sent someone to the house immediately. Two days later we lost the key to the rental. They were very kind and understanding and gave us another one with no questions asked. (We found the misplaced key that evening in the driveway).

We LOVED staying at this property.

We LOVED staying at this property. We were not necessarily looking for seclusion or “roughing it”. We live in WV. This was not our first trip to the area. The hot tub was great in January. The house was in a great location. Very close to ski resorts and not too far from Davis/Thomas. He house’s amenities all worked without any problems. It was large enough for my family of 6. We loved the sunrise from the master bedroom. The bear themed room was definitely a favorite. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was very CLEAN!! The rugs in the mud room were perfect for snow/ski. We look forward to returning to this property. The online process was easy. The no contact check in/out was easy, too.

We loved the house itself and the hot tub.

We loved the house itself and the hot tub. We came back for a second stay because we love it so much. It is a blessing to sit in the hot tub, looking at sunset, the moon or the stars after a day cross-country skiing at nearby White Grass. The house has easy winter access (compared to some houses on steep hills in the Timberline). A big plus: the Wi-Fi is reasonably fast (for the countryside) and (most importantly) reliable! It did not go out during our two stays. I caught up on work here every evening. Easy to access WiFi as well (no issues). Named after the owner, her husband, and her daughter, the “Three Bears” is a tastefully decorated home with a lot of thoughtful touches. It was very clean and well maintained. We were here for Christmas in December 2020 and there was a beautiful Christmas tree by the fireplace; each bed had a plush bear. This time, in January, there was no tree but the giant teddy bear in the living room remains. From decorative plates to paintings, this place is decked out in the theme of black bears. Great insulation (important in winter months!). House is well stocked in terms of toilet papers, kitchen paper towels, and bath and face towels. The downstairs bedroom has a closet with hangers which come handy. The kitchen is well stocked. We cooked every meal here during our week-long stay and during our previous stay as well. Do bring (olive) oil for cooking. The highlights are the wooden panels throughout, the A-frame ceiling, and the big windows in the second floor main bedroom with an amazing view of the runway (this is a fly-in resort) and Timberline mountains in the distance. They’ve got Sleep Number beds, and every corner of the house shows love and the owners’ passions: old snow shoes, old cross-country skis, lamps made from parts of bicycles, books on bicycling and hiking, and more.

Something to note, the email system Airbnb uses (the one that is supposed to hide your actual email address) had trouble getting through to you guys. I just messaged directly and got it taken care, so it didn't bother me. I just wanted to point out in case you are having trouble communicating with other guests, their messages may not get through that way

Our second time staying at three bears.

Our second time staying at three bears. My wife likes it better than any other properties we have stayed at, and we have enjoyed all the properties. We always have a great time in the Canaan Valley and Mt. Top and Becky Ray is a big part of that. Becky Ray is great, your entire team is always very helpful.
