Ocean's Edge - Beautiful, 2/2 condo in the Inn at Dauphin Island, with direct G

Ocean's Edge is a beautiful, newly-updated 2 bedroom/2 bath condo in the Inn at Dauphin Island, with direct Gulf views and a great second-floor location. There is a Gulf-view balcony accessible from the living room and Master Bedroom. This is one of the nicest units in the building, and is the perfect place for your Dauphin Island vacation.

The Inn at Dauphin Island is a four-story, low-density building located directly on the white, sandy Gulf of Mexico beach. Amenities at the Inn include two Gulf-side pools a great location directly on a quiet stretch of beach, a walkway across the dune, and gated, private parking.

Ocean's Edge has a King bed in the Master bedroom and 2 Full-size beds in the 2nd bedroom.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. This home is NOT pet-friendly.

Perfect get away place

Overall, we were pleased with the condo, building, and location. Dauphine island is more laid back than your typical beach area but we enjoyed its relaxed atmosphere.

Dauphin Stay

The property was awesome. The bay view was so beautiful. The furnishing and living quarters are well kept and very nicely accented. It really felt homey. The island is quiet and very relaxing. I can't say enough about how happy we were to have the opportunity to experience the Dauphin lifestyle in such a cozy place.

Birthday Getaway

The condo was in a nice safe neighborhood. Check in was easy and right on time at 3:00. The rooms were clean and decorated in cute beachy decor. The walk to the beach was lengthy. No problem if you are in shape. lol The cleaning people should leave more than three washcloths. My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing stay.

The condo was adorable. Very nicely decorated, had all the kitchen items needed. Bedding felt amazing. The only issue is the beach was not cleaned daily and it was overrun with seaweed which was apparently not the normal. It was a fun trip and we absolutely lover the condo.

Great Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation on Dauphin Island. The condo was perfect for us. It has everything you need, clean and a great view of the beach. The swimming pools were well maintained and the staff at The Inn were very friendly and professional. The island has great restaurants. We enjoyed the Audubon Bird Sanctuary—everything on the island to have a great time.

Very Relaxing

My daughter and I stayed at this beachside condo for three nights. It was quiet and clean. The beach was not crowded at all and there are two pools. We were able to text the property manager with any questions. It was a great stay and we are already planning a return visit.

Decent property but could use some small improvments

Overall the property was decent and the proximity to the beach was very good. When we first arrived we found there wasn't a single hanger in the unit. I brought a few but not enough. I left a text with the number posted on the fridge but never received a response. We ended up driving off island to the Dollar General to get hangers. The next morning I found that only one TV remote worked even though there were 3 TVs. It turned out only one remote had batteries. I reported this to the property manager by text but again no reply so we took another trip to Dollar General to get batteries for the remotes. in addition to that, the kitchen faucet really seemed to need replacing. It was difficult to shut off and made a strange creaking noise when shutting it off. It felt as if it could break off at any time. One last disappointment was only a 32 in TV in the living room. It was a little small for the space. A 40 or 43 inch TV would have been more appropriate for the space. While overall the property was okay some attention to detail and a little extra TLC could have made this experience better.

Enjoyed our stay

We spent 2 weeks, and enjoyed walking on the beach, and exploring the attractions on the island. We took the ferry to Fort Morgan and had lunch in Gulf Shores one day. The weather was mostly warm, only a couple days of rain. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. There was even a Keurig coffee maker and hair dryers! Nice to have laundry right in the condo. The island is fairly remote and we saw some interesting wildlife. The Audubon Bird Sanctuary and the aquarium were really nice! Not much in the way of food, especially fresh food. Our favorite restaurant was Pirate’s Bar & Grill by the golf course. Wish I had brought more clothes for warm weather, but I wasn’t sure what to expect in February. My husband swam in the pool one day and the water was fine.

Great family condo

Wonderful time again at The Inn. Great pools, great beach, great condo size. Only downfall is the one key to the unit, would be a wonderful upgrade to have a key code for the door. Be careful to not lock both guest bathroom and guest bedroom door at the same time, we had a scare when the guest bath was used and locked but instead of coming out the locked door we went through the adjoining bedroom, so we almost had a locked out situation!

We had a wonderful stay. The pool was clean and not crowded. The beach was easy access with board walk. The condo was decorated in a beautiful nautical theme. My little boy loved the beach toy closet. He called it the like a Christmas room. Lol

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at Ocean's Edge. The condo was as described in the listing and clean -- Perfect for a family of four. Our only disappointment was that the beach chairs were broken and pool floats had holes. Since we traveled by plane, we didn't bring any beach gear with us. We ended up purchasing chairs and left them in the closet for future guests.

Very clean condo

This property was very well maintained. It was very clean and very organized. There was a decent amount of kitchen necessities available. We brought our own, but it was nice to see the amount of sand and pool toys, beach chairs, and umbrellas available for use. We will definitely keep this unit in mind for our next stay!

CONDO WAS VERY NICE

Everything went smoothly renting this property. The condo was very nice and the pictures showed the way the space actually looked. The king size bed was very comfortable which is not always the case. The only issue I had was when I checked in, I received two different gate codes and had previously received another code in an email. That was very confusing. I would recommend this property. We never heard neighbors through the walls which was so nice. We had a very nice time!

Absolutely magical

The condo is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Everything we needed was available. We loved living here for five days. The beach is gorgeous. Check in had a couple of glitches but after that everything was wonderful.
