The local staff - Theresa and his assistant Travis who came to the house - were wonderful. Avari itself was a disaster - I needed Avari's help with a couple of minor items but the phone number to call for help put me in an endless hold cycle. No one EVER answered the phone. Ever. I would stay on the line for well over an hour on multiple occasions over two days. We also left text messages and chat messages to Avari. We actually did a google search, called the Texas company that apparently 'purchased' vacasa, and had a very kind receptionist ontact Avari (incidentally, she said she had tried calling Avari all day long a few days earlier and had the same thing happen). Perhaps it was a coincidence, but only then did we get a response. This is very troublesome and makes me concerned about other reservations I've made with Vrbo/Vacasa. This experience does not engender trust that Avari is responsive to its clients.

Everything was amazing with the stay!! Literally, the only issue we encountered, was navigating multiple vehicles in the driveway without getting one stuck. Other than that, it was the perfect stay, and we would stay again!

Family weekend

The house was beautiful and just as pictured and described in the listing. It was the perfect place for the whole family to stay together, and it comfortably accommodated our large group. It was amazing being right on the beach. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful beach home

There were 15 of us and we had plenty of room for adults and children to play games, and spend time with each other. You could not ask for better beach access. The only thing we would have liked was a 2nd refrigerator. With 15 people for 7 days fridge space was somewhat of an issue. The 2 dishwashers were great. Very well stocked kitchen with dishes and silverware. Could use some upgraded cookware, but it got the job done. Overall great property! We will stay there again.

Whatever They Want

Great Location, nice beach right odd the back porch. Nice open concept with a great gulf view from the kitchen, living area, and both main bedrooms. Well stocked kitchen. No houses in front of this home - unobstructive views.

Wonderful House

We loved this house! Right on the beach, everything clean, plenty of towels and the kitchen is well stocked. Wished it had a high chair but other than that it was perfect!

Fall Break Family Vacation

Each year our family takes an annual trip to our favorite beach, Daulphin Island! It gives our family time to share together and enjoy the beautiful beach. Precious memories are always made!

Great house

The house was amazing! It was clean and ready before regular check in. The place was beautiful and in a great location. The only complaint we have is regarding the driveway. It was very hard to see when coming in, and our GPS made us turn in the one beside it which looks like it was the old driveway because it was a small patch then became sand. We got stuck in the sand, and when we called for help their only response was to get a shovel. While the accidental turn isn't their fault, someone should rope off the old driveway as another car got stuck soon after. Otherwise though, the house was perfect!

***MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WORKS***

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL location & house. EXCEPT the management. I needed to cancel and sent emails and phone calls & texts and no answer. We would have lost all our money. Our family went on to stay in this home and none of the outlets in the kitchen worked after the 1st morning in the home. I contacted VACASA & spoke to someone from another country and always just took my name and number and never called me back. It was the last day before we had to check out, (trip was 5 days) then they came in to fix the issue. We had to cook breakfast outside on the front porch due to not having enough pans for a big family. All in all the money was well worth the stay. The home was beautiful but VACASA dropped the ball. ***OWNER OF THE HOME--I WOULD DEFINITELY LOOK INTO VACASA AND HOW THEY OPERATE YOUR PROPERTY***

Beautiful beach house

Lovely home. Well stocked kitchen. Amazing views as it is as described, directly on the beach. The house was perfect! We will likely be returning next year. However their was no response from the hosting company when we had questions about the remotes for the tvs. We emailed via Vrbo and through their Vacasa app. We only had one day of bad weather and we were able to make 2 of the 6 tvs work with all of the remotes provided. This would not stop us from returning, but is something to note. This was in New Years weekend, perhaps that explained the No response to emails. Even with the lack of communication we would all return, it was one of the best beach houses we’ve rented for our annual New Years met up

What ever they want

This was the cleanest house, best stocked with dishes, cooking pans, plastic containers, silverware, cooking utensils that we have ever stayed in. We had a wonderful time. would highly recommend.

Great location for large groups

We wanted a non-commercialized area so that we could just visit and relax. We had 3 couples with 12 kids (12 y/o, 13 y/o, the remaining 10 were 18+) so we were worried about the bunk bed configurations. There was plenty of room and they had a blast. The kitchen was surprisingly stocked with more than enough glasses of all sizes, plates (small & large), bowls, utensils and coffee cups. There was a limited amount of plasticwear, so we left two plastic pitchers and an assortment of 12 oz plastic cups for the house. The extra large covered deck allowed us to visit while enjoying hours of dolphin-watching without being beaten by the sun. The house could be optimal with ceiling fans in the bunk bedrooms, a larger refrigerator and a sink in the island.

Location was excellent

Property was great for several families. Do make sure to take your consumable essentials with you. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment, plenty of towels in closets. Pack your boogie boards as the surf was excellent for this every day!

BREATHTAKING VIEWS!! Beautiful Beach House!!

We vacation a lot so I take reviews of property very seriously. This house is definitely worth renting. It is immaculately clean, and you couldn’t ask for a better location!! It was my husband and I and 7 teenagers. We definitely had enough room to sleep comfortably with 5 bedrooms. The 4 bathrooms was a plus having so many teens. The house would be great for two families. The house was very spacious, and the kitchen had everything needed. The house was located just as advertised. RIGHT ON THE BEACH!! Ample parking for everyone. When I tell you this house had everything… I mean everything!! It even had a crockpot, waffle maker, and George Foreman grill. The only thing we can complain about is the beds were not comfortable. The mattresses were new and in great shape, but very hard. Also we had no broom or mop. We went to the local dollar store for that. The grill outside had an empty propane bottle. We had to pay $50.00 to have one filled. That was a bit disappointing considering the house was quite pricey for off season. Please note if you are looking for gorgeous white sands and beaches filled with large crowds and jets skis, you may want to rent in Florida. If you are looking for low crowds and relaxation… this is your rental!!! The beaches are very nice and clean!!! We rented golf carts and rode around the island and got fresh seafood steamed to eat on the fabulous porch. If you are looking for a relaxing spot, this rental is for you!! We will be back next year!!

Perfect spot

House was perfect size to accommodate 15 people (mix of adults and kids). Location is fabulous! House was fairly easy to find in the daylight and very clean. Two small gripes: The listing says shampoo/ conditioner and soap included, but they are hotel size and quality. Also wish there would've been at least a spray cleaner available to use. There were enough laundry/dish soap and paper products to get you started. Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return in a heartbeat!
