"Lumley Castle Hotel is a truly beautiful property, with its historic character wonderfully preserved. The castle’s charm and atmosphere make the stay a unique experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the wonderful breakfast was definitely one of the highlights of our visit."

"First and foremost the property was clean, functional and offered value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, although our experience of room service was let down by dirty cups being left. We found the hotel lacked character, everything about it was functional and not interesting. This extended to the breakfast, our experience of which was behind not eating supper there. "Better than expected. Don’t write off these hotels. Way nicer than many upmarket properties out there."

"Fantastic place to stay. We’ll stay again. Top location. Welcoming. Lovely decor great food. Great drink abc cocktail selection. Fantastic friendly staff both daytime and breakfast. Lovely big room. Comfortable. Great food. Perfect."
