The Heirloom, 1 bed cozy condo with Trail access

Step inside this lovingly curated and recently renovated first floor condo, and feel yourself transported to a simpler time. Furnished with a collection of vintage pieces (including several family heirlooms), most items in the home have a story to them. Meanwhile, your comfort is assured with modern touches that make this a perfect place to nest if you need to stay for longer periods of time. When evening comes, the glow of lamps illuminate the home and the collection of classic albums create the perfect space to rest and relax.

When you enter the home, the coat closet tucked just inside the door has ample space for shoes and outdoor gear. An intricately carved side table serves as a landing spot for your keys and wallet, while holding a classic stereo system with a collection of albums. The farmhouse table can seat 6 people, and I just love the brass candlesticks!

A step down from the dining area, you’ll be in the living room. The standout here is the Italian leather cushy sofa inviting you to curl up with a good book or watch a show on the 65” Roku TV.

Just behind the gas fireplace (currently inoperable due to HOA regulations), the galley kitchen features eucalyptus green cabinets, stocked with all the essentials for cooking and baking. A programmable coffee pot, rice cooker, and air fryer provide the modern touches that make prep a little easier.

A stackable washer and dryer, tucked behind a flowered curtain, makes longer stays easier.

Just outside the french doors, there is a small privacy-fenced shared patio area which is still being worked on, including planting a garden which will be tended by the host and may be accessed from the gate off the common courtyard area. The common courtyard features twinkly stringed market-lights, a picnic table, and a grill just a few steps away.

The elegant spa-like bathroom features double sinks, dual shower heads, and a tub for soaking your cares away.

The bedroom is designed for both rest and focus. Pop open a couple doors to reveal a dedicated office area with adjustable lamp and felt cork board backsplash to make the space your own. The 1950’s recently restored bedroom suite features a bookcase headboard, and dresser with extra blankets in the bottom. The windows are equipped with light filtering shades and curtains to ensure your comfort while sleeping.

Steps from the front door is the SOPAC Trail, a paved multi-use path that runs all the way to White Rock Lake and the Katy Trail — miles of running, walking, and cycling right outside. Off-road biking trails are also accessible nearby for more technical rides.

Parking
One dedicated covered parking space, across from the unit entry, is included. An additional unassigned parking space is available on the property for a second vehicle.

The host lives in another unit in the same condo complex and it is also available for periodic rental so if you need to find two spaces close to each other, please inquire about availability.
