"It’s a hole in the wall Motel … did not expect much and got what I expected"

"I have stayed three nights at the Comfort Inn Fremont for a business trip. The hotel is conveniently located, close to the main highways, restaurants and other services. The room was comfortable, big bad and good restroom. Clean and in order. The low point is the breakfast. Just a few options available. Only bacon and eggs as salted options, which is too heavy for many people. No biscuits and a few choice of breads and fruits. People were friendly in general. "

"The breakfast was my only complaint. There was nothing to eat other than two types of cereal and a little bit of microwave oatmeal there was also one loaf of Walmart bread"

"Facility is undergoing a remodel and there is construction debris everywhere, pool and other facilities closed. Only second and third floor rooms available and they are charging $200+ a night. Most disappointing is that there is no information on website or vendor sites providing information and you become aware only upon arrival. Place so dirty and disruptive that we refused to stay."

"My husband have come to Port Clinton every year since 2021. We usually have stayed here except for last year. Nice older property with good views of the lake across the street if you get a front facing room. Spacious rooms, but could use some updates with the furniture especially the mattresses! I like firm but the mattress was too hard and can feel the springs in some spots. Breakfast was fair with ok choices."

"I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Wi-Fi and breakfast were included, and the hotel offered great value for the price. Everything was almost perfect except for the desk chair. The wheeled chair was uncomfortable and made it difficult for me to work. I would suggest providing traditional four-legged chairs, as they are more durable, stable, and cost-effective. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel."

"We did not stay there as our room stunk of marijuana! The lobby was dingy and everything seemed dated. The front desk staff was excellent as they were able to relocate us to another facility. I would never recommend this property to anyone!!"

"This is conveniently located just off the interstate and has restaurants and gas stations nearby. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast (cereal, toast/bagels, waffle machine, plus scrambled eggs, sausage, & biscuits and gravy). The bed was very firm (which is my preference)."

"The room was clean and organized. The hotel was also conveniently located near the I-80 highway. It’s in a quiet and secluded area with easy access for travelers in the road. However, there isn’t a free breakfast and there are no microwaves in the room, so be aware before booking."
