"My room had apiece of trash behind the door and the toilet needed to be cleaned on the outside seat. The room needed a coffee maker since the lobby does not open until 6 which is when they also open the continental breakfast. The food was good for what it was. The stag was very friendly and provided excellent service. The remote to my was missing and when I reported it, they quickly found or replaced it. I did not use the outdoor pool but it look nice. It was screened it and bbq pit were near by...

"The beds were terrible. Walls are paper thin. The floors of the first floor rooms are absolutely FILTHY as in they don't get mopped. The only good thing is the staff was friendly upon check in."

"Being an old schoolhouse definitely made it unique. The room was small but didn't feel like it. The view over the courtyard was peaceful and the live music in the evenings was nice way to end the day. If you want quiet before 9 pm then I would look elsewhere but we thought it made for a nice evening. The location was perfect and within easy walking distance to everything in the historic district which was a huge plus to not have to deal with finding or paying for parking. The room and whole...

"Stayed at Hoyt House in early April. Weather was lousy. Everything else was great. Location is within easy walking distance of restaurants and stores of Fernandino Beach.
