"Host was quick to get back before, during and after stay. Our space was private even though it was part of their home. Loved the space, layout and the accessibility being on one level.Nice cool breeze and terrific view outside. It fit the need we had for our weekend to wind down and relax. "

"The room was cute and the allowance of having our dogs was why we chose this property. Having said that the check in process wasn't clear using Expedia. There is no management office. You simply needed a code to get a key from a lockbox on the door of your house. The big issue was the multiple spider webs/spiders/and dust all over the place. You can see that the fans and ceilings haven't been cleaned in months if not more. The fire alarm hanging on it's wires went off for no reason twice. ...

"The loft apartment was the perfect size and was built and designed incredibly well. Jim and Diane were great hosts who greeted us and welcomed us onto their beautiful property. Jim and Diane have built a lovely home and garden. The woodwork is phenomenal. Jim gave us a great rec for dinner. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!"

"Checking in was a nightmare, not on the property manager but on hotels.com. Hotels.com had the wrong property manager listed, didn’t share my info with the real property so they could contact me. I had to track down the real property manager myself the morning before i left causing me to leave late. "I stayed at the Blue Door Home Base apartment for a month to attend a summer class at local WCU. The apartment was wonderful in every way. Great location, super clean & comfy. The property owner is extremely helpful and responsive & he's thought of everything you could possibly need. It's a great rental & I really enjoyed my stay!"
